So I have finally decided to go with the Tiffany Legacy e-ring. After hearing the prices I need to make a decision. Would you ladies choose a F color with a smaller carat size, 1.05-1.16 or a G-H color with a larger carat size 1.14-1.68?

My second question is my ring size is 5.5 and I'm about 5'7. do you think these carat size will look big enough or will they seem to small.

If anyone has any pics of their Tiffany Legacy can you please post them along with color, carat and clarity information. Or if anyone has a cushion or emerald cut within the carat size can you post a pic and specs as well.

My ring size is a 5.5 as well. I am 5'3" with really long fingers. My 1.02 F tiffany classic looks beautiful, and I get tons of compliments.

I would go for the F color, because I can see color variations. But, whichever one you choose will be beautiful. Good luck and happy shopping!

I had a jeweler tell me that color is easier to detect than clarity. . .so if you have to fudge on one or the other he said to go for a lower quality clarity. apparently we CAN detect a "yellowish" color with the naked eye but some faint flaw is harder for us to pick up (without a loop and really. . .who carries one of those around!!)

If you don't mind can you post a pic of your ring?

greygirl- I recently saw a picture of an I Tiffany Legacy and I could definitely see the yellowish color.

Thanks ladies

I've never done it before. But I think if you go to the advanced post and scroll down to where it says attach files and click manage attachments. Then click on browse. Then click on my computer and you should see the SM card icon click on that and then choose the picture.

definitely color over size if you are color sensitive. clarity at vs2 is good enough. people usually go with cut, carat, color, clarity....and i was informed once, clarity can be tweaked by man, but only god can give the diamond its color. i'm assuming that means it's not possible to change a diamond's color artificially? sounds like a fun position to be in. congrats!

I think I have to wait for my account to be upgraded. I will try again in 2 days. I just signed up on Saturday.
