I've had the Tiffany round tag bracelet since my 20s. I still wear it @ 35, will still wear it 45 & probably 55. My husband bought it for me. I love it still & will continue to wear it as long as I want:yes:. I also have the heart tag necklace from my 20s (military tag style - long chain) and if not for the chain breaking I'd still wear that too! Gotta get that fixed some day. Wear what you love.

I got this yesterday...it'll be here Wednesday!! :yahoo:

I had the please return to Tiffany's bracelet.

but I lost it on my vacation to Barbados (sigh)

anyway, I would keep it. Its girly and fun. I seen women older than you wearing pink juicy Couture sweatsuits. so Im sure a bracelet and necklace wont hurt.

you might even get compliments on it.

It depends about how you feel regarding the piece, forget age, but i feel you didn't fall in love with it and that's why you are asking us so if you are not 100% sure, exchange it if you can for something more classic or sell it ... I am not very familiar with Tiffany, I am into Vancleef and Cartier, I'm 37 and for the past few years i am only buying classic and timeless pieces that i enjoy now and for many years...

This is quite funny because I was given the heart tag bracelet and toggle necklace as a gift when I was 18. But I never wore it (still haven't, now 24) because it just reminded me of other people's mums who all wore fob chain necklaces with their polo shirts.

So I actually think of these designs are being for older women....but that's just me.

I don't wear any necklaces. Need to work on that...

PLEASE be brutally honest, your opinions will never offend me

....

Well to be brutally honest I think your instinct is right about this jewelry being common and for a younger crowd. I think Tiffany's logo collections are a bit tacky and have been a way for Tiffany and Co to broaden their consumer reach to a demographic with less spending power, but still desiring of the "little blue box". I would save your money for something truly unique and beautiful and skip wearing the jewelry that has the Tiffany logo on it (i.e. free marketing for Tiffany on your dime). (Sorry if that is too honest) :smile1:

Well, I have the Tiffany Tag bracelet (DH bought me our first Christmas together) and I wear it everyday. I love it and while it may be considered trendy, it wasn't when he bought it for me. I also have have a great disc necklace from the same collection on a very delicate Tiffany chain and I never take it off. I have the oval choker and seldom wear it (if ever anymore) because everyone was wearing them. I have enjoyed the two pieces I wear daily more than any other jewelry I own. I am 44 and I don't think they are too young for me. I doubt anyone really notices them to be honest.

I'm an echo of the majority opinion but if you love it wear it, I think age descrimination is a thing of the past, as for Tiffany silver, in general, I love it, don't forget it is not just the 'return to' range, there are some beautiful designer pieces amongst the silver they sell.

I am almost 40 and to be honest I never had the `craving` to buy T. silver jewellery. But my Mum (who is beautiful and very fashionable and young looking) bought some last year and had a lot of fun wearing her silver pieces. She did tire of them because they were always going to be for fun, and not part of a uniform. ie they were not forever pieces but just for a season or two.

I think that its good to get things out of your system, either by purchasing the item or just mentally letting it go by choice. You are definately not too old, and it is fun to buy something that you have always admired. The pieces are quality and well designed for sure.

I say if the itch remains buy one piece, not enough to break the bank, but you will get to play!!!! Jewellery is all about fun and being frivilous. Sometimes something calls you and you need to experience how that look feels in your life. It deoesnt mean you have to wear it forever, but you might enjoy knowing that you can wear it when you choose to!
