Hello! I love the necklace. Are you still in love with it? How often do you wear it? Thanks
Why yes I am! I wear it whenever a neckline suits it. I don’t save it for special events. I did notice that I stopped rotating necklaces as much once I had one or two statement pieces like the hardwear necklace. It’s best for my budget not to collect pieces at this price point lol.

Love, love, love hardware and have gotten quite a few pieces already. I was ready to purchase the graduated one in silver until I tried it on and its a bit too big for me. I love the medium necklace in YG....still more than Im ready to spend now. I do have the medium bracelet in YG and may get another. can connect the 2 for a choker. check out the dbl necklace with the removable charms in silver. so versatile!
Hi if you happen to see this, can you show us a picture of the wrap necklace used as a short necklace?

I have the YG hardware wrap bracelet in size M — attaching a photo of when I tried it on in store. It’s 15”. I wear 14” and 16” Tiffany chains with it so I love how falls with them. I tried on size L (15.7”) too, but I found size M worked best for my stack. I absolutely love the shorter length as a necklace, it doesn’t feel like a choker and goes well with a lot of outfits.

For reference, I’m 5’4”. :) hope this helps!

They have changed the names of things now — is this the micro link necklace or small link necklace? Or neither?

I am debating size and metal. In silver I can go giant, gold, not so much.
I have a lot of HardWear pieces. It is one of my favourite lines from Tiffany. Regarding the link pieces, I have the graduated necklace in silver and the large bracelet in silver. I find these pieces are great bold and big as is the essence of the line. I actually prefer the bold pieces in silver over gold. That said, the price is also a factor for me.

In gold, I have the medium link necklace and bracelet. I got the silver set before the Gold set as I never liked the small link size (too small) and the graduated one was too expensive for my non-Diamond threshold. As soon as the medium was announced my SA had one ordered for me. I love this piece. It is so comfortable on the neck and so easy to wear. I wear it a lot when I’m going out casually in athleisure.

I wear the silver set with a lot of Prada re-nylon pieces or if I’m going to concerts or other places where the statement suits.

My next piece in the line will be the gold elongated pendant I think.

I really think the gold hardWear is worth the price given how much I wear the piece. When I think about how much I spent on bags and clothing—and jewellery can be worn a lot more/longer—the cost per wear is minimal. I also like how it complements the Chanel chain details on bags and clothing.

Hope that helps your decision (and maybe justification. 😂).

ETA: I have tried on all the pieces from the HardWear line. I will say that if it’s a price factor, the small is comparable enough to the medium that I would say go smaller if it’s a budget thing (but the price based on weight is better for the medium size). I strongly do NOT suggest the micro size. It is more a layering piece IMO and expensive for the lack of statement it provides. I feel the essence of the line is lost on the micro piece. That said, I would buy the micro in silver as a layering piece or I would buy a ULTRA micro sized ring (made this size up) as I find the hardWear ring way too bulky for my finger (and uncomfortable).

This is very helpful. I haven’t bought anything yet and the boutique is a little far away, so I haven’t tried anything on.

I generally don’t wear silver, at all. You have me thinking that I should go and choose a size appropriate for my frame and general taste, to ensure that whatever I get I wear often enough to make it worth it.
Rather than just picking something off the website and then never actually wearing it.

I generally don’t switch out jewelry so I was thinking the small link would be most versatile but I do love the bolder looks of the larger links.

Yes, go in. It’s an expensive enough piece that it’s worth the wait/commute. If you live within 2 hours of a Tiffany store, I’d just do a day trip. Treat yourself to a nice lunch and make a special day of it. Call the store in advance to ensure they’ll have all the pieces in store for you to try—specifically the small and medium link. Then have them ship it to your house once you’ve decided.

I will say that in person I notice a significant difference between the small and medium link necklace—both in look and feel.

But… in pictures I can hardly tell. To the point that when my piece was delivered I thought they had sent the small lol. I actually counted links to be sure 😂

I don’t know you, but I feel like you need to go gold. 1) you don’t wear silver as much. 2) the silver one requires a lot of cleaning between wears if (like me) silver isn’t your daily wear. Also, I find the gold more comfortable on than the silver. Against my skin, gold is just more comfortable.

Best wishes with your new piece 💕

ETA: also, if you intend to purchase more jewelry, it’s nice to have rapport with a store. You will get invited to special events, like store openings, private viewings and the blue book event. I have had quite a few special experiences curated for me by Tiffany (and on their behalf). You don’t get this through the site. I won’t go into detail publicly, but I can privately message you any specifics if you’re curious about it.

This sounds inspiring. I have the large link silver necklace which I LOVE and the set in gold (large link hardware necklace, medium bracelet, medium earrings). I was thinking of getting the silver bracelet or earrings but wondered if this would be pointless as I wear the gold bracelet a lot. This has inspired me to consider the bracelet as a separate set perhaps next year

Thank you. I love the pieces you have. Like you, I wear the gold all the time— and only occasionally the silver—but I find the looks completely different, so I value both. I also enjoy the look of the pieces as a set, but I do feel the silver necklace can stand alone. I think HardWear is a lot more comfortable against the skin compared to many of my other pieces, and that is why I gravitate to it the most. Since you love the silver necklace, I think the bracelet is a logical piece. I would wear your silver piece and head to the store and try the bracelet to see if you love them together.

That’s exactly it. It is just so comfortable to wear. I went to try on the silver large link bracelet , they didn’t have any and said it is SO hard to obtain. They didn’t have the earrings either. I think Tiffany’s reducing the production of silver pieces and focusing more on gold. I had to pay upfront so it can be ordered in. When it arrives I will try it on and see. I don’t think this was the case last year.

I’ve had the graduated silver necklace and the large link silver bracelet for 2ish years now. I know when I got them, they were readily available.

I have about 6 silver HardWear pieces from a decade ago now and I distinctly remember not noticing too many other people wearing them. However, in the last 6 months, I have seen everyone (including prominent and famous) wearing the HardWear line, so it doesn’t surprise me that they are experiencing high demand in the silver, which is a more accessible price point.

According to the SA I shopped with when I visited the flagship in NY this summer, he’s “sold the HardWear necklace to almost every woman in New York”.

So it’s popular. Ironically, that’s why I chose to go HardWear in the first place, because I wasn’t seeing it as much… go figure. Haha. Still love it.

Hahaha. Yes this is true. There are also many dupes, and “inspired” pieces. Here in London I hardly see it at all. I think it looks classic yet very edgy.
I have read that since being taken over by LMWH Tiffany’s reducing the production of silver and focusing more on more expensive metals/diamonds…
