I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. As you know I am a fellow TCo lover, so I would suggest the TCo ring and then upgrade later (or not if you change your mind).
It depends on how much you want the Tco ring, and how much you want your new house. Do you think you could delay one or the other so you both can have exactly what you want? It would be cheaper for you to delay and not purchase, than to purchase and exchange later on.
Or you could buy your wedding ring now, and then buy your engagement ring when you get married? I know its not conventional but it might mean that you get it all, eventually.

Okay guys so I have a confession to make although I did love the ring my Finance gave me the colour " I" was really bothering me. He had picked it out because he felt bigger was better but it looked much more grey then I wanted. We went together today and I ended up swapping it for a VS1 colour F 0.95 carat triple ex. I'm in Love!

I did feel a bit bad taking the ring back but he said he wanted me to love it and be sure it was the one.

I'm so glad we took it back as I got to share in the Tiffany Customer service experience at the Bloor Street location in Toronto. Our sales associate was amazing and made the process truly memorable.

Here are some pics. Thinking of adding the Tiffany Jazz band later on[emoji7]

Congrats on your engagement! I think you made an excellent choice! I have a Tiffany princess cut engagement ring with an F color. I think the F color is fabulous, too. When we were looking at engagement rings, we had also looked at an MRB with an I color and I thought it looked a little grey, as well. So I thought it was funny that you thought so too. Congrats again and enjoy it and wear it in health!

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the Colour difference with the "I". I tried explaining it to my cousin My but she had no idea what I was talking about

View attachment 3563810 View attachment 3563809 This evening, my DH brought me to Tiffany's to pick up my new upgraded Yellow Diamond Soleste Ring!!! And I can't stop looking at it!!!

Since I was little, I have always had this love for Tiffany. So when my DH and I were getting serious, I told I always wanted my E-ring to come from Tiffany's. When It was time to price rings, I could tell he was stressing out about how to afford such a purchase (we were so young and definitely not making much then). So I told him I would marry him with or with an e-ring. So we did and I never regretted it.

Then on our 11th anniversary, he took me to Tiffany's to pick out an E-ring because he wanted to keep his promise. He set everything up and our Associate set up a private room with champagne and cake to commemorate the occasion. I was stunned. I fell in love with the Soleste right away. Our wedding colors were yellow/gold, like my mother and fathers wedding, so the Yellow Diamond was perfect. My first E-ring was a .54 Intense Yellow diamond.

Now on our 14th anniversary, he took me to Tiffany's again to pick up the ring he personally picked out. He chose a 1.16 Vivid Yellow Diamond, which is the ring he said he always wanted me to have.

The 2nd pic, is my 1st e-ring next to the new one. You can't tell in the pictures but the yellow and brightness in the vivid vs the intense is truly magnificent and catches your attention right away. It's like pure sunshine. I truly cannot stop looking at it and can't wait to see it under the sun!!!
