Ame: i was told from SA Tiffany diamonds all excellent in cut grade. Polish, symmetry have different range from good to excellent.
Round Brilliant is a shape. Cut Grade is a quality. They're not the same. If it's Excellent or Ideal it will have the right angular cutting to ensure the best light return, fire, sparkle. Very Good and Good will have lesser lighter return, fire and sparkle. It could be the most ideal ideal cut ever and not look good to you. Just make sure if it's not really Tiffany or doesn't check out you can get your money back.Hello ame. Thank you for great information. Seller told me she will email me all of numbers on the Cert today when she get home. Yes, i am buying the ring from private seller. She is original owner of the ring since 1999. She sent me the pic but it focus to the ring more than the cert so I cant see any further infor except VS1. H color. Polish good, symymetry good.
I have another question may I ask? How different between cut grade is (good, very good, excellent) vs round brilliant?

That's their sales pitch from my experience. They do sell some dogs that they pass off as excellent. It depends who deemed it excellent. This is what I understood as well after lots of talking to TIffany.![]()
Here is more infor from my seller. She just sent me the pic of cert. As all I see is :
Cut and shape: round brilliant.
Dept:61.2%
Table:55%.
Color: H
Clarity: VS1.
Polish and symmetry: good.
I called Tiff the current price for similar diamond is 8270 plus tax.
She also say : round brilliant cut as same as excellent cut even polish and symmetry just good the diamond still fire and sparkle a lot. Is that true?
I called Tiff the current price for similar diamond is 8270 plus tax.
That does seem very unlikely.$7100 in 1999 and only up to $8270 in 12 years? Could that be right?
