I know they started with engagement rings around 2009. I am guessing it would be around the same time?

As I understood it, they only brought in SI for the Novo. But I thought they made it a point to not extend it beyond that because it would be "detrimental to the brand image." Interesting.

Yes, the do have SI but the SA told me that it a very quality and that Tiffany lap grade very hard so they will take anything that is very bad quality. For the SI, I have to call the diamond specialist and have them do a national search.

Here is a copy of the report the writing is the 0.44. Thanks

Keep looking unless in person you prefer one. NEITHER is cut well at all. The SA doesn't understand cut quality at all.

Table is too big on the .44. If the table was a 55-57 I would say go for that because the crown and pavilion angles work well--but the table is too big. The 58 will cost you fire.

The other one with the 33 crown angle does not work with the 40.9 pavilion angle, so even though the table and depth aren't too bad (though it's a deep stone for that crown angle, the crown and pavilion don't line up so you're not going to get good light return at all.

Thanks Ame, good information. Can you provide me with the a guide of how to pick a diamond? I am so clueless.

There's a cheat sheet up in the Diamond Reference Sticky at the top of the Jewelry Box main page. Ideally keep the table between 55 and 57. I think it's on page 3? of that thread.
