Tiffany & Co. Paloma Picasso Sugar Stack Rings...

They are cute, but insanely overpriced, and like the OP, I don't wear yellow metal. If I wanted a peridot ring, I'd buy one in white metal that suited me better (and was way cheaper).

I went to Tiffany & Co. yesterday and tried on a lot of things - including the sugar stack rings. They do not look the same in person as in the pictures you see online. I was suprised at how light/pale the colors are and they look transparent when you look directly at your finger. You have to look at them from a specific angle to see any colors. I really was very disappointed because I wanted to snag the large rubellite one, but it's not worth the money at all. The only one that looked ok to me was the large lemon quartz. I thought I would pass this along in case anyone wants to know what they actually look like in person.

Now, a ring that really sparkled was the Victoria ring with aquamarine - although the aquamarine was windowed at the bottom - looks odd when you look directly at it. If you have a different stone in there - it would look even better. It is gorgeous though.

i love them, they're actually some of the few tiffany pieces that i love because they're not typical tiffany style. but as usual with all things tiffany, and especially in this case with the style being so simple, you could get the same thing made with the same quality materials by an independent jeweler and pay much less. especially for stones like peridot.

Thank you; this is good to know. (They look so vibrant in the photos...How deceptive of Tiffany!) I feel better about not having one now because I used to be so obsessed with them! Now, I'm obsessed with the Pomellato rings.:girlsigh::love::laugh:
