I completely agree with you
I think my OH is concerned as he knows I'd like a solitaire ring from tiffanys of 1ct size or more but it's just not affordable right now- plus I keep feeling undecided on which design I prefer anyway which is not good you can't buy a piece like that if your not 100% in love right? Like sometimes I feel I prefer the soleste or I'd like side stones on the solitaire ... This is a sign I'm not ready to pick myself not with that kind of money
I do genuinely really love this butterfly ring I'd easily pick this over a smaller stone solitaire of the same price
I'm only 23 he's 24 so compared to my friends my age I'm extreamly lucky to even shop at tiffanys at all

Do you think it will look worth the price ? I don't expect anyone to know how much it cost or that it's from tiffanys I just hope it's pretty in real life and not tacky

[QUOTEE=cupcake34;22553370]It is such a gorgeous ring!

Remember, the classic engagement ring was probably created by marketers who wanted to make people think that ONLY classic ones with a center stone of xy carats are REAL engagement rings.

I don't think that this is true... everyone should choose their own engagement ring, even if it is not what everyone has.

The butterfly ring is unique and much more affordable for you now. I think these are enough reasons to justify buying it? :)[/QUOTE]

I am pretty sure it would look beautiful and sparkly! Tiffany rings usually have a great quality so I think you will not be disappointed.

If you are still a bit unsure about which ring to choose, I would wait a while and get the butterfly ring first. After all, 10k or more is a lot of money, and you could always wear the butterfly ring on your right hand or a different finger.

I agree also I don't have the 10k now anyway so I would have to wait a while anyway
I'm really keen on going for the butterfly ring just got to convince OH
Lol
Thanks for the help :)

I think the butterfly would be a cute idea. Butterflies symbolize metamorphosis and change. It might end up looking like a fancy promise ring to some people, but I think its a darling piece and I applaud you for not making the mistake most of us make at this time where we over extend ourselves.

I never thought about what it symbolised that's nice to know it has symbolic meaning too :)
We could save for the bigger stone ring but there are other jewellery pieces I'd go for first such as a Cartier love bangle
I think the butterfly is perfect for me and if in the future We're financially better off and I still feel I need one then we can talk about it then
Or maybe I'll go for the soleste as it looks like it would have a lot of size and sparkle for less (if I go for a small centre stone)
Its my own fault I have to wait as I'm always prioritising other jewelłery pieces
