Will the pink diamond pieces be very expensive? I heard that pink diamonds are the rarest and most expensive ones. I hope Tiffanys pink diamonds will be affordable...

What do you think?

@cupcake34 I am not a Tiffany employee, but I have no doubt that bracelet can be shortened. It is made in sequences, so it seems a full unit can be added or removed quite easily.

With regards to Pink Diamond Jewelry - First off, you can find plenty of Pink Diamond Rings and Pink Diamond Pendants. You won't find a lot of bracelets only because of the amount of diamonds usually used when making the design.

They are not the rarest of the color diamond family (Red is) but after Yellow they have the second highest market demand. The cost is high, but it depends a lot on the intensity of the color. **TIP TO REMEMBER** if you are looking for any color diamond jewelry, you don't need the most intense color as long as the jeweler has experience setting color diamonds. They can do it in such a way that the natural color is brought out more and it looks more intense (again, naturally) than it actually is!

Just thought I should let you know my thoughts :)

Honestly can this be used as an engagement ring I'm so in love lol

I think you definitely could! I'm hinting for the platinum enchant band as an e-ring!

@ fancydiamonds: thanks for your answer and the helpful information! May I ask you if you work in the jewelry trade?

@ blackstar: sure, this ring is not a classic engagement solitaire ring... but if you truly love it, why not choose it? There is no rule saying that you must have a classic engagement ring. I would just make sure that the ring is really what you want; do you think you will still love it in 20 years' time?

Thats true I'm not sure if I would change my mind in a few years
The engagement ring I really love is about 10k and we can't afford it just yet
I was thinking of having this piece as my ring and moving to my right hand when I get the one
I was thinking of getting a smaller version of the e-ring I w
Wanted but thought it would be a waste when I upgrade as I can't wear two diamond solitaires however this butterfly could be worn on another finger or my right hand
What do you think to doing this ? X

I think that's a great idea!

You could use this beautiful butterfly ring as your engagement ring until you have saved enough for the one you really want. And then you can use it as a right hand ring... perfect!

This way you wouldn't waste your money because you would like to have both rings anyway.

That's what I was thinking I'm glad you agree
I just showed my oh the butterfly ring and his reaction was it doesnt look like an engagement ring.
I'm trying to justify with the idea and it's still a luxury ring right ? It's tiffanys, platinum and diamond.
Although I know it doesn't look like a typical engagement ring it's still a piece is be lucky to have

It is such a gorgeous ring!

Remember, the classic engagement ring was probably created by marketers who wanted to make people think that ONLY classic ones with a center stone of xy carats are REAL engagement rings.

I don't think that this is true... everyone should choose their own engagement ring, even if it is not what everyone has.

The butterfly ring is unique and much more affordable for you now. I think these are enough reasons to justify buying it? :)

It also depends on the wearer's skin tone. I saw a beautiful fancy yellow diamond, but it looked washed out on me. And I would need a FI at least to bring out the color on my tanned skin. My wallet wishes it were not the case!
