Meh...somewhat tacky. Maybe if someone really loves the number 17, they would get it? Or if you are 17? I just can't see why someone would buy a necklace with 17 on it.
 
I think it's interesting that it's getting such negative feedback from its target audience in this thread. I'm 26 and I don't mind it... I could see buying it as a 17th birthday present or for someone whose b-day or anniversary is on the 17th. I don't think it's that bad other than the fact that it's a marketing ploy. I wish they made them with all different numbers, because I'd buy one if they did (not one with a 26 for my age, but a different number that's special to me):shrugs:
 
I just thought of something.. maybe if your birthday were on the 17th? Or someone got it for someone as a 17th anniversary gift??? LOL

I don't even know why I'm trying to justify it...I still hate it. :D
 
I saw this too and thought it was dumb...I showed it to my mom and asked "So what's the point of this?"
Even if I was 17, I wouldn't want that on my necklace. What happens when you turn 18? :nogood:
