Hmm...now I'll have to go over there to look at pic again.

I just watched the Runway video again and I think you're correct, sadly. The two Runway models (one for each color) are carrying the Rexy Tote by the handle -- neither one has it on her shoulder -- and like you said, there's no outer stitching where the straps would be sewn in. Oh well, I have a few more months to decide if it's a game changer for me -- you are very observant -- that went right over my head!

I didn't notice it right away; it took me a week of seeing the pictures floating around Instagram to say, "Heyyyy, something's a little off on this!" BUT I also think they may have skipped sewing on the handles for the runway if they knew the models were going to carry it by the hands. They generally tweek the production model to sell better, so I imagine they would add the shoulder straps since that's the selling point of the Rogue line!

I bought the Rogue tote in black with whipstitch handles (a detail i LOVE) and hauled tons of heavy belongings on an airplane the other day. It performs like a champ. I love the look of matte black with flax interior. Sure, the matte finish is prone to scratches (as its glovetanned leather) but I do not care. Its lightweight, can manage a load, and carries like a handbag (i am not a shoulder bag person). I am just a tote bag girl and this beautiful bag is a tote that doesnt seem like a tote.
