It's lovely! Do you find that the addition of the shorter top handles and the extra hardware make the bag too heavy? I love it's simplicity and streamlined look![]()

Just from you in CanadaThx! Why is it $100 more than in U.S. What country are you in??
Just from you in Canada. We have the exchange here that we have to take into consideration when we see the prices on the Web site
.
I saw this irl Sunday- it is a beauty- enjoy! I am waiting for the release of the Rexy pulling the coach to see which I prefer as the Rexy one is larger. I think yours is just perfect for everyday.
No, sorry and it seems the SAs do not know much more either- my SA was browsing Instagram trying to find photos. She also said Rexy tote will do well at that store in BH because he is a celeb-magnet. So yes, they likely will fly off the shelves esp. with holidays in mind.Thx, yeah the Rexy one IS larger and the sheer whimsy of Rexy substituting for horses will make that one a MUST for me also...as a matter of fact, I just realized rather than waiting for a possible additional color to come out for my current model, I'll definitely wait for the Rexy version! Let's hope it won't be a backordered situation when they release it...I suspect it will fly off the shelves.
Do you recall what colors the Rexy Tote showed? I'm thinking Saddle and Beechwood (?), so far?
Thx!
Not sure what you mean by extra hardware -- do you mean as opposed to a PURE tote bag with NO handles at all?
It feels very lightweight (I mentioned that in my lengthy reveal), probably because the leather is smooth and the interior is virtually hollow (no sewn-in pockets or a built in bottom base). Of course if I jam a lot of my belongings into it, as I would do in any large purse, it'll have the same heft as other similar bags. But, empty, she's very lightweight!
Glad you like the streamlined look -- and simplicity is the key word here -- also, she'll be a classic, non-trendy, bag that I'll always treasure! Doesn't mean I won't want an additional color, down the line, heh.
Sorry I missed your original comment on the bag feeling lightweight. My question was about the added top handles (many totes don't have these) and also the addition of the rings to attach charms onto. In any case, you answered my question so thank you and enjoy your new tote!

You mean you didn't read every single word of War and Peace, er, I mean my Tote reveal??
Yeah, she's quite lightweight and much classier than just any old tote...I'm in love, what can I say?
PS -- I hope I didn't sound hostile in my first reply...it wasn't my intention.
The interesting thing that I've noticed is that the Rexy-Carriage Rogue Tote doesn't have the stitches on it where the longer, shoulder straps attach. So I wonder if the XL version is supposed to be a weekend bag/carry only? That would be a deal breaker for a lot of people, methinks.
