I agree with you, many of their employees do not know much about the retired pieces. I brought one of my retired jazz pendants in years ago for cleaning and the CS associate asked me if it was from them? It was odd, she should at least check through the loupe and see the TCO markings.
True, the only thing they are trained in nowadays is swiping customers' credit cards. they don't know 2-5 y.o. pieces,not to mention 10-20 years old vintage. neither they have any ideas what's coming. I inquired about pre-launch Lock pieces featured on Insta by a blogger. SA was like it's not ours, it fake. 1 month later it was in stores

The ampersand necklace had been on my wishlist for quite some time and was retired this year per my SA (now no longer on the website), with boutiques selling the last of their stock before it was gone for good. So I finally bit the bullet!

I am curious how old these two pieces are, I currently have the bracelet and have been eyeing the necklace on eBay for some time. I tried searching through the forums but so many older posts have broken links to pictures, it's hard to say.
I purchased that heart necklace early 2000s I really loved it but then sold it later on bc I found it too bulky
