Burberry came out with the new version of the small rucksack that can be carried as a crossbody.
I personally still preferred the old version simply because of the beautiful gold chain details at the side. And because of this, I just pulled the trigger and bought the small rucksack in black in the old version. So much for wanting to resist the temptations
I need to freeze my card in ice already.
Would love to know if anyone got the new version and your thoughts on it!

So glad to have found a meeting place to talk all things bags, as I am a bit of fiend
I came across this thread on Burberry Tech Nylon rucksacks, so I decided to jump in and add my two penn'orth - I purchased (2 weeks ago from Ebay) the small version with the tan leather straps and gold hardware/chain detail.
I absolutely adore it and found it to be perfect for everyday use. I must admit, when it arrived I thought it was a little on the small side, however, as I tend not to carry too much around on a daily basis, it fits my needs perfectly. Also, the side and front pockets are great for storing additional small items such as hand cream, lip stick/gloss etc.
As soon as I became interested (or obsessed!!) with buying this rucksack, I had actually decided on the medium size, but having taking the time to look into the idea properly and gorging on as many youtube videos as possible, I decided I would not fill the medium size and opted for the small which I love - and I do not fill this size either - real minimalist!
I will check back in once I have used it for a good few months and update on wear and tear and just general everyday use!

I love my small black rucksack for a day out and it holds a little bit more than my other small bags, which made it so convenient

The seller on Ebay was lovely and the sale included the original box complete with ribbon intact, tissue paper, dust bag and all the documentation for proof of purchase - I was extremely impressed when the bag arrived!
I really am on to the idea of adding the medium now, especially as you mentioned the difference of use between the sizes - I definitely think the medium size would be an excellent travel bag for me and the small for everyday use which as you said holds slightly more than a small handbag - thank you for that!!

Burberry has their sale going on and these are the goodies I ordered.....Medium Rucksack in Clementine Reg Price $1350 onsale for $680, Wendy Sheep Keycharm Reg Price $320 onsale for $130. I love the quality of the backpack and the hardware is beautiful. They are my Christmas gifts "from" my husband. I had to sneak a peek and boxed them back up to put under the tree. Am I the only one who does this?!

Personally, I doubt you will regret buying both sizes within a month of each other as each one has it's use according to your daily needs - I think they are perfect and as previously stated extremely durable, stylish and very well made indeed.
My quest to add a medium size Burberry rucksack to my small became somewhat derailed as I fell in love with the Gucci "Ophidia" shoulder bag and purchased that instead (which I am having a ball with I might add!!) so my plight continues.
But as far as rucksacks go, Burberry is the first port of call and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to invest in a quality backpack
Ya. Been using the medium these few days. No regret, it’s such a practical and well made bag! Love it.
I have one other backpack (LV bosphore) that I love.
Anyone has this bag? How's the wear and tear? Any other input, pros, cons etc is appreciated.
