ohh ok, so do you think 3ct per ear is too big? i don't want them to be HUGE but not tiny either, what is the ideal size?

That's subjective. I think anything over half carat an ear is too big lol

These would be wicked huge. But the lack of color would also be a big giveaway that they are not real.

thanks, you're right they probably would be huge, it's hard to tell how big they are from just pics, i'll have to go in person to see what size i like best

I agree, my cubics are way too white. I don't wear them because of this, my diamond studs i'm currently wearing are G colour and they're white but not glaringly fake looking like CZ's

if you could find CZ's that are like a G to I colour then this would make them much more realistic!

I def recom. the Tacori Diamonique line... From the earrings to their rings they all look very nice and don't break the bank either! For studs I say go for it - as long as the colour isn't way off CZ's can be incorporated into daily wear with no problems!

I'm not a diamond expert at all so i have no idea what's fake looking, i don't want to wear something glaringly fake looking. Right now i'm thinking 1-1.5 ct per ear, something like these: Are they believeable? I don't know why the kinda have a blue-ish tint

the size is much more believeable- why not order them and if you're not happy return them? the bay has a pretty good return policy:smile1:

The only place I know for sure carries a "g" colored CZ is winkcz.com

Pick the Colorless and then when you come to "heat enhancement" you can get Royal or Imperial White. (F/G and Hish)

These will be the closest to "real" looking that I've ever seen and they set them in gold or plat settings. But the earring settings will be way more than $100

But from the ones you're looking at I'd get 2ctw or 3ctw (or both and return one)

when believability is important, I always err on the side of smaller. So I personally would go with 1/2ctw or 1ctw if it was for myself. Since you are wanting larger 2ctw max.

I agree, to stick around 2-3 ctw for a more believable look. Also, make sure you hold them up to your ear and see if they sparkle a lot -- I think a lack of sparkle is what makes low quality CZs look "fake".

Do you have a Nordstrom Rack near you? I remember finding very nice CZ/sterling stud earrings in there of all sizes, and they were very reasonably priced (around $30 a pair).

The CZs I have that are set in white gold or sterling look so, so white. While the ones set in yellow gold look pretty good. I think CZs pick up the color of the setting.

I've been thinking of getting a pair of CZ studs in pink gold from WinkCZ, but wonder if the CZ's would look too pink. Last time I looked WinkCZ was recommending the champagne CZ for the pink setting.

I love my Diamonique studs from QVC, they are a true wardrobe staple. I can not imagine spending the money on diamonds when I have a beautiful substitute that shines and sparkles even better than the real thing. Plus, my studs are 2 carat size (4 carat total weight), which would cost a fortune in a real stone.
OP- these are the perfect size- large enough to be noticed, but not too large and fake looking.
