Thoughts about the epi Neo Noe?

Honest opinion here and my own. No disrespect to anyone who loves this bag at all. But I think it is way high priced for the make of the bag. It really is no different from the Neo Noe in canvas which I believe someone above stated that the canvas look cheap and I do agree with that. I just took a peak at it in person Friday and beside being Leather it is in fact the same bag as the canvas. Does it look better yes and having the addition of the shorter strap helps. But the long strap as the strap on the canvas are just flimsy to me. I compared the Epi Neo Noe to the Epi Cluny, Speedy 25 and the Alma PM. So the Speedy 25 is 1910 Cluny BB is 2500, Alma PM 2120 while the BB is 1590 and Neo Noe sits at 2220. I am sorry but those all those bags are really better made than the Neo Noe. Realistically none of these bags are worth the price but the Neo Noe Canvas and Epi are really over priced. The one good thing about the Epi Neo Noe is maybe dents will not happen over time as with the Speedy or Alma.

Thanks for posting your opinion, CornishMon! It’s awesome we have options for all tastes ❤️ I really do love this bag in Epi! None of the other bags work for me (Alma is hand-carry only, the Speedy strap is too long for me and I don’t find the Cluny practical). I’m really in love with my Neonoés!

I haven't used my Neo Noe yet, only just bought it yesterday. But to me it is a very unique bag - like you said, I don't have any bags that's comparable. I bought my first LV at Christmas time 2009, beautiful Trevi (now discontinued) which is my only 'casual' LV bag, but it's very heavy and the colour is very autumn/winter. Over the years I subsequently bought two Almas (one epi and one vernis), one epi Jasmine, one MM Brea (epi), one PM Brea (vernis), one Lockme II, and I really don't think the epi Neo Noe is similar to any of the bags I own (either too small, too big, or no shoulder strap, or leather is too delicate and I don't even want to use it). I'm normally loving the structured bags (you can tell from the above my collection), so the bucket bags don't appeal to me, until I see the pictures and videos of LV Neo Noe. It seems casual but can be dressy (great for my work wear), the colour I chose is very versatile, and most important, I love the size, not too big and not small either. Plus the bonus that it's much lighter than I expected.

When I got home with the new bag yesterday, my husband (who is well trained thanks to all the shopping trips with me and my ongoing education, haha) had a look throughout and commented that it's very well made and delicate, and asked me to look after it. Of course I will, like all my other bags which all look almost brand new.

I didn't buy many bags in the last 4 years, but did go into MK bags for a while. However I always came back to LV and have the special feeling about it. Also the reason I haven't bought much was due to the price increases, just too much for me. I'm in Australia, considering I paid A$1620 and A$1910 respectively for my two Almas, and it's now A$2800 and A$3050; my Lockme II cost me A$3700 just over a year ago, I think the new epi Neo Noe is well priced at A$2830.

My only complaint is that it should have feet under the bag to give more protection. I just need to be careful and not put it on the hard floor.

I somehow think of 'buying houses' or buying anything when I think if it's worth it. If the buyer is happy to pay the price and loves the purchase, then it's worth it.

Your comments certainly encouraged me Sonmi999. I hope I will love my new bag like you do. :)
