My package arrived (just before the rainstorm), and it's beautiful! Here's a quick pic:



Some first impressions: the bag is much stiffer than I expected, which makes me hopeful that it will hold its shape well over time. The pebbled grain actually reminds me a lot of Chanel caviar leather. Although the bag doesn't seem like it might hold much, it actually has a roomy capacity and can fit the essentials: a continental wallet, phone, key case, lipstick, etc. The quality seems top-notch and I love the attention to detail, from its little snout to its curly tail!

@behindtheseams congratulations it's adorable!!! You're right, the leather is pretty stiff, holds it's shape quite well, and overall high quality. I've had Lamb Chops since early December and he's held up very well. Inside is roomy too, holds my 18cm Faure Le Page full-size wallet just fine, along with a lot of other stuff. Only downside is that zipper opening is stiff and has a tendency to chew up your hands a bit. So happy to see another one of these on the forum! I hope you use and enjoy them a lot

If anyone has been craving the bunny, ssense has one with the sweater on sale for 28% off in the men's section. Just be aware that USPS might charge a duty/customs/taxes (whatever it's supposed to be) since it'd be coming from Canada.

Took Lamb Chops to Fendi today. He’s such a show-stopper. Every sales associate, guard, and customer had to make some comment (positive of course). You have to be ready to be sociable carrying one of these around!

The whale didn't come back in stock... but the pig did! Just placed an order for Mr. Piggie (w/o knit).

I recommend checking the website once in a while. It seems like the Thom Browne online store restocks occasionally.

Reviving an old thread here but the FW23 will have two whales - the big duffel in a dark blue and a new whale purse in dark blue and black. The whale hats are hilarious if you browse the entire lookbook on the TB website. And a mermaid doggie in two sizes...

They're going this weird route with animal bags - not confirming the crow/raven (that was shown on the runway for FW) will enter production but also offering "custom" bags. Essentially they're letting you choose a single color that isn't black, or a funmix where you get to add a second/contrasting color to the leather strapping or the inner ears or other specified minor parts. So you might be able to custom a whale soon! But it'll be pricey, a rhino was about 45-55% more expensive than the original release. The turtle backpack will come back but it's double or triple the cost from original release.

The original whale in black pebble was 2950 but the Saks release a season later was 2700, the navy one from last season 2500 and the black whale baguette was 1650

which animals you have? my favourite is my skunk.

I have a the two sizes of whale and elephant, I regret not getting the turtle backpack when it came out with the whale but the backpack straps sit weird on my shoulders so it's only a love from afar. My favorite that I have would be the anteater or the hippo but hippo can't travel because they used sand in the feet to balance him. TSA scanners hate how the sand appears so it's too much trouble.

If there's a unicorn want it would be the Dubai exclusive camel bag
