It is reeeeaaally hard to deter you from getting the Silverado!! It's gorgeous!! I had to get another one when I got the 1st one. It may be that some feel the Sylvie is losing popularity, but I still love love mine!! Would love another one if I am not eyeing a Spy this season !

I'm not the world's biggest Silverado fan. I've never seen the bag up close, but to me it looks like a bag that would only work well with casual attire, and I prefer bags that can dress up or down. I think it's easier to pull off a dressier bag with jeans than visa versa. Just my .02.

I had a tan Silverado on pre-order from NM and when I saw one in Nordstrom's in person I cancelled my order. I felt the same way as Pseub. As I was holding it I thought the bag was only going to work with jeans. I felt it was a lot of money to spend on a bag that could only really be used with casual attire. Also, the bag I saw in person did not look like the beautiful color you posted. The one I saw was more tan (dull) than this fabulous orangy-tan color. I decided to get the Mulberry Rosemary in oak instead.

I think the color of the one pictured may be 'cognac'- a darker shade than the tan. Gorgeous!

i'm not trying to talk you into it or out of it, but i would tell you to try your best if at all possible, to see it in person. or, if you can't, try to buy it from somewhere where you can return it.

i absolutely loved this bag until i saw it in person. the dimensions were a little "off." i ended up buying the paddy instead.

but, it may look better on you!
