I wasn't really looking to upgrade but I was at the 5th Ave. store in NYC and of course HAD go check out the engagement floor. I saw all the beautiful Tiffany Settings and couldn't resist asking what Tiffany Settings they had that would fit my budget for an upgrade from my .81ct G VS2. The SA showed me a ring that had arrived just that day - 1.32ct I VS1. I wasn't sure about the I colour but I compared it to other near colourless stones (G and H) and I didn't notice much of a difference. I then checked out the proportions of the diamond and they looked pretty good! I double checked it with Ame here on tpf and she said this was a winner =) (Thanks Ame)

Beautiful! I love it! I think it's very cool that we have a resident diamond expert here (Ame) that we can run numbers by. Enjoy your beautiful new ring!

Woohoo! Looks PER-FECT on your hand, too. I am SO GLAD the numbers were winners and that I was able to confirm everything for you to set your mind at ease. It's my pleasure to give my input whenever possible!

I am in the thick of wedding season so I am not as active on here lately, but I am trying to make sure I look at the topics once a day at least to make sure I am not missing anything.

I sized it to a 3.5. I was very impressed that the flagship store was able to size it in 3 hours!

Thanks again Ame for responding so quickly even when you're so busy!

My pleasure! I envy that ring size so much. Also, THREE HOURS? That's fantastic! Sure beats leaving it and having it shipped back.
