Start out with something inexpensive so you don't get burned. I only paid $28 for this Bleecker woven pocket hobo and it was an easy rehab, but I should warn you that rehabbing is addictive!

Nice! I also like whiplash/woven details but I actually don't have any bags with them! I saw this tote online somewhere recently in a different color but I can't remember where.

I've been looking for that flap bag for a bit but prices on eBay are too high for my taste right now. Seems like a few other TPF members have also gotten into this bag recently, too!

It's got such nice detailing, I really love it. I paid $39 at a thrift shop my Soho Leather Laced Flap 11879 Buckskin and Brass bag. That's kind of high for a rehab project but it was an unusual bag and in good shape, and it came with the dustbag and a Tattersall pattern coach box - so I had to buy it!

Thanks so much, I would have been scared to buy a white bag at a high price, but for for that price - what the heck! I will do my best to take good care of it, but I am going to relax and enjoy carrying it! :biggrin:

Black, that sounds very rich! Is the whipstitch also black on your bag or is it a contrasting color? In black this bag would definitely be worth the retail price, but the less practical chalk white would still be a bit of a gamble at full price IMO - but a lot of fun! thanks!
