Were the thieves at the beginning of the thread ever caught? Can this be the work from the same group?

Again?!? Maybe it's time to put up those really ugly but effective concrete ballast post. You cannot get past them with a car or suv. All the malls in my area have them. But hey, thieves will probably start stealing heavy dump trucks to run through them. Ridiculous.
Well this happened again 
The store I go to was hit again and they ran out with a bunch of bags . I guess it was near closing… There is video of them running out of the store, which is located in the mall…thankfully everyone was ok….
