They sent me the same bag twice

I prefer in store even though it is at least 3 hours round trip. I found a nice SA who found me the elusive PA mono. Getting items shipped from the store was nice when I didn't have the time. Website is last resort. I prefer to see my items first.
I buy so spur of the moment so website is easy for me. But i see maybe i need to just go in store instead
 
I had the same problem with LV online. Some letters on the logo stamp had been scratched off or erased, it's like its been used and returned. i went to the store and exchange for a better one. as others have mentioned, Hermes has better online quality but their online stocks are very limited.
I will definitely choose wisely with online shopping now
 
Hey guys. Im usually just a lurker but here i am posting. I ordered a speedy 25 online. When i did the unboxing, the hardware had tarnishing and the lock was already on the bag. As if it had been used. I decided to do an exchange but since i unboxed it for YouTube, i remembered the date code, and everything about it. Well would you believe the warehouse sent me the SAME bag back. So now i have to go through the process again. I am kind of disappointed . I work in quality for a living and this fails all quality checks. It makes me only want to go buy in stores when i have time.


I know this was posted a while a go but this just happened to me. Purchased a speedy b 25 and was not happy with the quality. Multiple scratched on the key lock, crossbody strap has residue glue on strap, and handle straps on the bag has a little mark. Sent purse in for exchange because I was told by client services I could. Well, a week and three days later (not including weekend since ups doesn't ship) the same bag comes in the mail. Not to mention in between that time the price increase happens. I asked if a bag could be purchased and overnighted to me, but then the CA says she cannot buy the bag since it is not available for purchase. The only option was to return the bag and refund me the price for the bag. I mentioned if I can have the bag repaired and she said she will not be able to discount that price for me so whatever the repair costs I would have to pay. Lol what a joke right?! I have to pay for an item that came with quality issues. Which is ridiculous!! If I were to refund the bag I would have to pay the price of the price increase for a new one. WTF is going on with Louis Vuitton?!

I wouldn't pay. I would just return the bag completely and get the refund. No bag is worth it to me to go through that hassle. Sorry you're going through this. I'd be frustrated, too.

:sad::sad: I was looking so forward to this bag and was happy to score it online too! I guess we'll see what care services say about the cost to repair. If not I can try to live with the imperfections

The strap has that has the extra glue on it and the handle on the bag it looks as though they didn’t paint it? The key lock is pretty bad though

I wouldn’t send a brand new bag in for repair I would just return. They could swap out the stock and strap , I can’t tell what is wrong with the handle. Unless you really want to keep then the repair should be free…..

The lock is actually okay. Don’t expect a perfect lock without any scratch. This lock scratches super easily and LV does not put protection stickers on it.
Did you try to wipe the stuff on the leather with a soft cloth and a bit water off ? If that doesn’t work I would just return it and get something else!

I don’t usually use the lock anyways but it’s just frustrating to know that this is a luxury brand that isn’t getting any cheaper with this kind of quality. I have tried to wipe off the stuff on the leather. This will probably be my last item to buy from LV. There’s nothing else that I really want honestly
 
Don’t accept to pay any fees on the repair on a brand new bag. If I were you, just exchange for a new stock available. The toron handle looks fine. But I wouldn’t accept the leather strap.
