Hey guys. Im usually just a lurker but here i am posting. I ordered a speedy 25 online. When i did the unboxing, the hardware had tarnishing and the lock was already on the bag. As if it had been used. I decided to do an exchange but since i unboxed it for YouTube, i remembered the date code, and everything about it. Well would you believe the warehouse sent me the SAME bag back. So now i have to go through the process again. I am kind of disappointed . I work in quality for a living and this fails all quality checks. It makes me only want to go buy in stores when i have time.

Not a surprise. Take a peek in the stalking thread for all the defective bags, refund and exchange problems and difficulties. Yes it fails in every way!! Sorry for your trouble. I’ve had a problem and finally got my cc company involved today as they’ve been holding a refund for longer than they’ve told me over and over. Now I have no bag and no $$$! And I’ve had way better service from Target and Zappos for returns and exchanges!!!! Done with their online process. Hermes runs an impeccable online operation, been buying since 2013 and not a single defect or problem. So luxury online can be done right. Hope it gets resolved soon!

I think what sits wrong with me is that these items are expensive compared to designer like coach or MK. Or even store bags like aldo or target so i expect quality and “luxury”. I don’t feel like this is a luxurious experience. Actually a headache in fact and one more thing for me to deal with. It has me second guessing LV

It's hit and miss when it comes to ordering luxury items online because you don't have the power to inspect them beforehand and they only have limited availability at any given time. LV pulled the same stunt with me when I ordered the Cluny years ago. The hardware had a scratch and I asked for an exchange and they sent me the very same one. My DH thought I was being too picky and I liked the bag anyway, so I ended up keeping it.

I also ordered a Marignan that I had to return due to symmetry issues. I don't know how the bag passed QA because the front pocket was not aligned properly. Needless to say, I no longer have anything sent to my house and only buy in-store.

yeah, everyone is different. I don’t necessarily feel the experience of being in the store makes it more luxurious for me. But I’m also pretty introverted. I just want my item and to go lol.
 
I prefer in store even though it is at least 3 hours round trip. I found a nice SA who found me the elusive PA mono. Getting items shipped from the store was nice when I didn't have the time. Website is last resort. I prefer to see my items first.

I had the same problem with LV online. Some letters on the logo stamp had been scratched off or erased, it's like its been used and returned. i went to the store and exchange for a better one. as others have mentioned, Hermes has better online quality but their online stocks are very limited.

Same thing happened to me and when I called stating that they sent me the exact same defective item they literally didn’t care. I asked to speak to a manager and got “disconnected.” I will never buy online after that experience.
Yeah, the first person i talked to was the worst. I was like listen I’m not a difficult customer but how did this happen. Because this is dumb. He’s all “idk. Maybe we only had that one in stock so they sent it back”. Ummmm excuse me? lol. A joke
