I got the Black on Black Swagger today unexpectedly (and by unexpectedly I mean my husband bought it and had it delivered to my work). I am still trying to figure it out. I am not used to using such a gorgeous bag and frankly I am afraid and intimidate by it.

Use it and enjoy it; it's a sturdy well made handbag which should hold up very well! You're a special lady obviously!

Enjoy! That cute bag will give you a bit of polish on a casual day and compliment the dress up days. Have fun, and don't worry it goes with everything.

Oh and don't forget you can use your bag. One day you are going to accidentally squirt orange juice on your bag. It'll be fine.

My mom was a compulsive save stuff for a special occasion person till she retired and then she started using her stuff.

So I decided to just skip that phase and use nice stuff all the time. I live carrying a great bag. It finishes your outfit.

Enjoy! You deserve it.

Thank you all for the encouraging words and advice! I guess my hesitation is that I never dress up. In fact, I do not own a dress or a skirt. My idea of dressing up is wearing dark jeans or leggings and my ballet flats. I put my stuff in it and started wearing around the house and it is slowly growing on me. I wanted a boxy sort of bag and unfortunately the Brooklyn messenger I got from the SAS ended up not working out (poor design engineering). I am not a carrying a bag in the crook of my arm kind of gal and this bag actually looks decent when I wear it cross body. I might be brave and cut the tags off and use it this weekend!!

Awesome to hear! Cut the tags!

And just to throw this in, that your husband put the effort into picking it out, purchasing it, and surprising you with it, means he sees you rocking it and he sees you in more situations more often than anyone else. Not saying anyone's opinion matters other than your own, but I would take it into consideration, especially when it comes to getting out of a style comfort zone.

The only reason that he chose this bag is because I have something like 4 tabs opened on my computer regarding this bag Monday night when I left for the gym. He knows that I do a lot of research and comparing before I make a decision and figured that I want it. He really does not care what the bag looks like on me just as long as it can hold his wallet, keys, and phone when we go out.

That bag is perfect for jeans and leggings. And a moto jacket. Especially as a crossbody or shoulder.

I finally saw the Swagger last night IRL. I liked the black on black hw and really liked the Puce color as I am pink girl. Thought the nickel hardware was interesting and it seems to have a different feeling to it, not as heavy but thicker and more hollow. And I think they have finally found a way to prevent the hangtags from flipping over which is a plus. The one and only roadblock preventing me from buying it is that, though I like the bag, I am conditioned to buying with PCE and I don't think this bag is worth $500 compared to other bags I have been able to buy with at lower prices using PCE. It sort of reminds me of the Rileys of last year and they practically gave those bags away at he outlet. Kinda bummed that I am not seeing the Puce at the Dept stores because I would buy it at a discount. But even turn back the clock to when Coach did have, PCE, the full price of this satchel would be $395 and not $495. So adding a $100 and then no PCE is a deal breaker for me. I have plenty of pink bags that I won't be too devastated if I miss out on this one. Plus the spring bags usually don't sell as well so I will hold out for the semi annual sale

Oh, there will be a PCE I was told in spring.

You might look at the smaller swagger. I felt the large one was really huge and heavy. I got the one that was $395 and I just love the size.
