Detailed photos of my new medium black leather Swagger with black hardware #34408. I am in love with the Swagger! Only con is that it is a heavy bag, 2 pounds 12 ounces empty.
Rings to clasp the long adjustable strap are built in to the side panels. The bottom has feet, yes! Interior has a zipper pocket, two multi-function pockets and a place for a pen. The zipper is a break away but it has this clever snap to keep it from opening completely. It has two hangtags. One is made of the same leather as the sides and handles and the other is made of VERY heavy metal. Instead of the cheap beaded chain to hold the hangtags, it has a bracelet style chain with a spring ring closure.
I reeealllly would like this bag, but I am a jeans and t-shirt everyday kind of gal and I am worried that this would look odd on me being that it looks so modern and polished.
The swagger looks just as good with casual clothing. Yesterday, I wore it with t-shirt, jeans and a cardigan.
The more I look at this, the more I need that CB Wristlet version. I want another smaller crossbody bag and this one is so cute. I really, really need to go to my local store this week....
I think it's a versatile bag. I think it can go sleek or can go with jeans and a t-shirt equally well.
I agree. The chunky hardware dresses it down, while the shape is polished. The black metal is a bit more casual than the gold.
The black leather with the black hardware is what really grabbed my attention. It is so hard to find that combo on nice bags. I have a Rebecca Minkoff Julian backpack that I had to hunt down because I would not settle for nothing less than the black leather one with the black enamel hardware.
I got the Black on Black Swagger today unexpectedly (and by unexpectedly I mean my husband bought it and had it delivered to my work). I am still trying to figure it out. I am not used to using such a gorgeous bag and frankly I am afraid and intimidate by it.
Congratulations! You are a very lucky lady to have such a good husband. I have this in large & love using it. Don't be afraid, just enjoy it. You'll have such a nice memory every time you use it. You deserve this!
