Honestly at this point I don't really trust the official site pictures anymore, so many of them are wrong. I suspect they probably took the photo of the prototype/sample. There are pictures of bag with full leather lining (colourblock dinky for example) but the actual bag is with microfiber, and there are also the colourblock Hutton wallet from last year with the website showing it can fully foldover, turns out it bearly bend at all. Have to return a few pieces due to that.

Nope not in the Cassie. Only the pieces with signature got the basic turnlock. Coach has errors on their stock photos pretty frequently. The Tate I just got shows yellow stitching in the pics, but actually has white stitching. Sometimes the difference is a good surprise and other times it's a hard pass.

I have the Rambler that I bought in dec during their sale and love it! I am debating the Cassie, but it is in black and I already have the Rambler in black and adore it. I am not a black bag fan usually, bit the rambler in black is classic! I am debating getting the Cassie since it is on sale, but I rather a different color. Are they going to do a new imprroved version? What is going on with it now?

The Rambler is my favorite Coach style; I own a vintage in black and brass, an archival one in red and nickel, and the one purchased during the holidays. I felt very sad that I didn't get the mini Rambler. Anyway about its cousin Cassie: I don't know. It looks like they were trying to capitalize on the pillow Tabby. I know they were trying to simplify their lines. Cassie may have been another casualty of the pandemic and recession. I think people have been cooped up so long they're going to look for fun and frivolous. Cassie is classy, but she's a more serious bag. We'll just have to see.

Agreed! Cassie has a more serious vibe. I think that’s why I prefer the 19. I do like Cassie full size on everyone but for some reason it feels business like on me. Still not sure how I feel about it. Also - I think you may be right about Coach focusing on higher priced bags and condensing their lines.

While I agree the 19 is more casual, I personally feel the full size has much more potential to jazz up with customization & scarves. I'd prefer they keep the regular size cassie as is (or with 1941 leather) & bring the smaller Kip in to replace the 19. Some pics of my reg size Cassies...

I love how you jazzed them up! I actually tried my beat chain on my regular Cassie and wow! It looks SO GOOD! She might be a keeper... I guess that’s the fun in individualizing the bag.

Really? You think it’s more serious? Hmmm. I have the full size Willis in Green and I love that thing. She is fun and cute and that green color is TDF. I also really like structured kinda bags. With the tabby’s I adore the look and feel. It is not an every day bag for me and I have barely used the one I do have and have not even touched the other 2 colors except to literally unbox them. I like single compartments and flap Turnlock closure. I also love the leather lined. I have had the material lined and they can get stained and I baby my bags. Hmmmm…. I don’t want to buy the Cassie just because. I bought a lot of Coach (prolly too much) rather keep and use the ones I love and not buy more when I know I should sell some off. If only the Kip were the same size as the Cassie. Lol. I also read about some glazing / cracking issues as well… I love the Rambler. Thought that was a classic. Wonder why they took it down… the Cassie is not a Coach Original right? It’s a remake into the more trendy?
