There is something about Cassie...

I get trends. The Cassie is a classic silhouette & directly competes with a very similar high end piece (LV PM) that that company keeps on its must have list. Is every bag Coach makes going to be dictated by trends? IMO, they have got to start making & KEEPING classic styles rather than this trend merry-go-round.
I've given this some thought; and their answer to keeping classics around is to upcycle them so they can charge $$$. I don't know if I want to pay an arm and a leg for a vintage bag.

I hated their 'embroidered' vintage bags.
Me too.
I don't like any of those embroidered things. I think they were aiming for a younger, cutesier crowd.
See part of the beauty of the vintage coach is the simplicity and the understated design. I think there's always a market for that. That's why a lot of the more mature woman gravitates towards Dooney and Bourke. Most of older Coach styles don't have crazy contrast stitching. They have good organization, good quality leather, and decent shoulder straps. And younger women have discovered these older designs and they like them. The Cassie as a perfect marriage of old style Coach and 2019/2020 trend. It contained all of the above. Hope people express their displeasure to the powers that be I felt at Coach. Maybe they'll resurrect it?

Next to the rogue, Cassie is my fav Coach bag. I have 8...... all bought on sale, least 30 off. I just can’t believe they would discontinue this after 2.5 years..... I’m tempted to get a 19 before they are all gone.... all mine are reg sized...... but maybe they will make it to half off.... so I may wait.....

I agree. It is such a beautiful blend of vintage and modern!

I got all 6 of mine from outlets - now to wait on others.
I have seen the 19 on outlet but in the seasonal colors or the multi colors... the chalk and the black 19s have never gone to the outlet so I’m thinking they will sell at retail before they get there as they are the most popular colors..... not sure. I want to wait as well but locally in AZ we don’t get any good retail at outlets here and I may want to buy at retail before they sell out. Hate seeing what I buy cheaper when they hit outlets so I’m tossed as to what to do. I want a chalk and black one. I may also get another regular black Cassie as back up as I plan on using these bags forever
