Some more thoughts... It is an adorable bag, but I have to ask myself if I would have paid full price? And I had the black and returned it because I had been sent a returned bag thrown in a plastic bag. I had other opportunities to purchase another Cassie 19 in black, but then I went to my closet and my vintage Rambler. It was all in the crossbody strap. Coach has begun to skimp on some of the crossbody straps and the one on the Cassie 29 could be a tad wider. Honestly, I didn't know if I would use all of the straps to justify a price that was over $200 plus tax. As for keeping this one, going to sleep on it and try see it in natural light.Okay all: the Cassie 19 has arrived. It was nicely wrapped. I know it was returned because it wasn't factory packaged. I think I know why: the lighter blue is a periwinkle blue, just one shade past a pastel blue with a hint of lavender. The bottom is oxblood and trim is oxblood. I tried to take a picture of it against one of my coats, but I had trouble getting the exact shades. It might be because of fluorescent lighting. Bag is beautiful.
I also got that deal. We don't get deals like that here either! Lol. It was a fluke, I think. Or just one of those things. Thanks to the efforts of the great people on this thread, more people were able to discover the treasure. (Thanks again, guys.)What a steal! I paid €395 and it was still worth it such a great bag. We don’t get such huge discounts like that here.
I went back and gave another look. I really would like to wear now. What do you think? It's grounded in oxblood, so my original thought was that I could get away with it nowSome more thoughts... I gave up trying to convince myself to buy this bag. I also thought that 200+ dollars was too much to ask. I also understand what you're saying about the oxblood making this less of a spring bag. Even with the discount I couldn't justify it. I have other bags that would give me the same function that I like way more.I went back and gave another look. I really would like to wear now. Despite the light blue, this is not a spring bag. Thoughts?
