I ordered a black Cassie from Coach website and was disappointed when I opened it. To me, the flap looked too asymmetrical. The left side was curved noticeably more. I already have a blue color block Cassie that I had bought from Macy’s last year and it does not look like this. I am sending it back. The turn lock also made clicking noises and i also wasn’t sure i liked the brass hardware. Bummer. 
Totally agree w you. This would bother me too. Always a bummer when you're excited to open your new purchase!
Thanks. It wasn’t meant to be! . It’s not like I have anywhere to go with it. I still have some new purses that I bought before the lockdown that still have not been used.
I looked at a few in the Coach boutique and all of them had cracking issues. They offered to order one for me and that one was perfect. Exchange it. Hopefully the next one will be “just right!”

I have to say I love the pop of yellow in the pleating. I was expecting that. It's a very nice touch. I think I will cover my handle like you have. I'm nervous about the beige getting dirty. Hopefully I will get to wear it soon.
The Cassie bag couldn’t fit an iPad 9.7, right? Wish I could go to the store and confirm. It says it’s 10 inches long but I’m sure that accounts for the leather and not the interior.
I don't think so. I just measured the largest center section on my most used one & its just over 9" wide, barely 9-1/4".

Congrats! I am still good with my aurora purchase. I looked and looked at both colors over time, and in the end the pink won out. At the time pollen wasn't available, but I knew it would be at some point. I like the pollen, but I am not sure I love it enough for me personally. But it is a fun color for a Cassie. Enjoy!
