Bleu Jean. It’s just so dull to me.
I might be having an age-related hallucination, but I think I remember @Megs having a fantastic story about a member-enabled BJ B acquisition back around the time I joined TPF circa 2009. (Searching yields no results to confirm this but I have noted that older posts seem to become un-findable sometimes after system upgrades.)If I recall, this color had SUCH a moment back in like 2008-2011? I was never a fan but I remember it being absolutely everywhere and people being just mad for it!

I remember this! It was considered a must-have classic color. The idea was it was as classic as denim, a casual, wear anywhere color. If I recall, this color had SUCH a moment back in like 2008-2011? I was never a fan but I remember it being absolutely everywhere and people being just mad for it!

IMO Bleu Jean can look good in photos but IRL it's ...insipid....and looks NOTHING like denim.
Too funny @r luvs h. IME baby sick has a rich and diverse colour spectrum, and was never limited to those hues.Vert Criquet is maybe the worst colour Hermès has made. I also am not keen on Soufre, Vert Absinthe, or Jaune Bourgeon (this colour always makes me think of Les Mis, because it sounds like "Jean Valjean"). Those all remind me of baby sick.
