Not at all. Just make sure you buy the thinnest one, the 1.2mm one. Its meant to just protect the lining. Its very thin.

Do you who use a base shaper find it stretches out the bottom too much? A friend and I were debating whether it's good for the bag or not.
It does stretch it out a little but I prefer it that way tbh. It looks better than the creases it gets otherwise. My WOC is a sentimental item for me so I will never sell it unless I have no other choice so I'm less concerned about things like that I think.

mine doesnt too much, also the main reason why i chose the shaper for the bottom only. I dont like the ones with the sides shaper.
Just got myself this red caviar woc with LGHW. I was looking for silver but my FA recommended LGHW also blends well with both silver/gold jewellery so I decided I’d get one. TPFers, do you think light gold goes well with red? Any LGHW owners, how do you like your LGHW so far?

I have LGHW on my mini and I like it. At first I felt it was too silver (like I wouldn't think it was even gold at all if I didn't know it was suppose to be), but I would agree it does make it easier to match both gold and silver jewelry. Also I usually feel silver is too casual, but gold can be too dressy so the LGHW is a nice inbetween.

also curious if this light gold hardware on Chanel is the same as whats called champagne gold or rosegold hardware? I heard somewhere there is also aged gold (?) so I’m pretty confused how many shades of gold they carry.

Glad you feel better about it! Keep in mind it may appear more gold because it's reflecting the red off the bag. I have a gray mini and the hardware appears pretty silver because it reflects the gray. Same thing happened when I was at Dior and was looking at a gray and pink bag both with LGHW side by side. The pink bag appeared more gold but the hardware was actually the exact same on both. I had to ask the SA to confirm because I wanted the LGHW/gray combo but it just looked so silver in my eyes lol.Thank so much! Great to hear you love yours and that it blends well with both. trying to get a black caviar WOC in europe, the SA told me there is months of a waiting list, is this normal? She took my name and phone no. is that all the details they need to put you on a waitlist? Not sure if she was just trying to fob me off lol
Not sure how standard the wait times are in Europe, but it is a popular item. Was told in the US that black caviar with ghw was "almost
impossible" to get, but some have had luck at Neiman Marcus etc. In any case, the WOC is rumored to be going up in price very soon...so would be good to get it sooner rather than later.

I waited for 2 weeks before I was able to get one. But like PP said with the price increases on the horizon, it may be more challenging. Reach out to as many as SAs as possible and add your self to the wait list. It is ok if you decline the item. It will go to the next person in line. Good luck to you!
