I was wondering if anyone can help me out, I have a SAKS gift card that I would like to use towards a WOC. Ive been trying to locate one through their store for the past 2 weeks with no luck. Does anyone have a SA at Saks that may be able to help?

This is my first Chanel, unfortunately after the price increase.

I picked the dark navy with lighter gold.

I almost got the black + gold combo but didn’t like the look of caviar on that black one. This navy one is with shinier leather & puffier quilt. Hope I made the right decision!

I am just wondering if anyone else with a snap closure WOC gets paranoid about making the flap bend onwards when you press it to close it? Or is this just me?!

Oh sorry, i was talking about the classic black Chanel Woc in caviar leather with gold hardware. Does it also come with light gold hardware?

No, the classic quilted caviar woc only comes with the shiny yellow gold hardware oe silver hardware. if you want light gold hardware with a classic Style woc then you could look for a preloved iridescent black woc from 19s with the big pearly CCs. That one has light gold hardware I believe.

WOC Saver. I believe they sell them on Ebay. Just google it. Simple but great!

I don't get paranoid, but I know what you mean. I decided that selling a perfectly beautiful WOC to buy the one with the magnetic closure made no sense for me, personally. A snap is probably more secure anyway, and I doubt it would have been designed that way if it could truly damage the flap.

you’re probably right - it’s probably just my obsessive tendencies over thinking it. I’d be tempted by magnetic closure to be honest but my current WOC is the most beautiful blue - it’d be hard to part with

I think it is a common issue for a WOC - if that open end frays you can get chanel to repair

How does everyone store their woc? I have been putting the chains inside mine, putting it in the dust bag, and placing on its back. I’m not sure if I should be standing it up? Thanks in advance!

Sadly that's happened to my CC trendy WOC. I personally think the way the strap "slides" on the WOC makes it more prone to leather damage.

I've noticed both on the Chanel website, but also on consignment site's and my local Neiman's I don't see the caviar WOC in red anymore, only lambskin. Almost like they don't make them anymore. Were they discontinued?

I'm half tempted to just go with the lambskin, but such a small bag that I'll probably use daily, lambskin might not hold up well over the years.
