Does everyone love their WOC or are you regretting buying it or wish you hadn’t? I am on the fence with so many mixed reviews and the cost!! HELP! What are your thoughts. Too small. Never use. What.
THANK YOUI personally love wocs but I also don’t carry a lot on a day to day basis. It really depends on your needs whether you will love it or not. If you are sitting on the fence, go to a boutique and try one on. Imagine what you would use it for also put your items inside the woc and see if you can manage carrying the minimum. Also, wocs are available preloved at a fairly sizable discount. Maybe try getting one preloved so that if you don’t end up loving it, it’s less painful financially. HTH.
Only just got mine and wasn’t sure I could downsize my essential but I have and it’s so carefree and versatile. I am so pleased I got it, timeless go to bag and just makes me smile every time I get it out to use xDoes everyone love their WOC or are you regretting buying it or wish you hadn’t? Has anyone else had a really negative experience at a Chanel boutique? I went in today to see if I could have a look at a WOC. Firstly I was followed around the store which I do not appreciate, and I then stood there for 10 mins with no one offering any help despite several SAs standing around. (They had time to stalk me like I’m a criminal but not to offer help?) I finally got assistance and was promptly told all classics are out of stock. Not even sure if that’s the case, or they had just decided I’m not good enough. Anyway, I felt like crap for the rest of the day thanks to this, and now I don’t even know if I want to give a brand like this my money!
I saw the black irl. Its very cute. Any woc . In black with a magnet closure will be a nice firstWhat kind of WOC would you recommend for a first Chanel bag? I'm pretty stuck because the classic has that delightful back pocket but they have other really great styles as well. I like the classic style but I also like the boy WOC and a few others:

YEEEEESSSSSSW. just this past Thursday I went to Chanel at SAKS to have my wallet on chain chain repaired and man when I walked in all eyes on me. One of the girls that works there I have worked with her for years ago and I didn’t see her I left cause I knew these ladies were not gonna give me the time of day. Thank god I circled back and she was there. Anyhow after spending 20 minutes for them to look up my purchase history to verify if I even bought the bag from them ( which they never found ). I literally have purchased at least 10 bags from the store Chanel and a lot of Gucci things online. Tons of shoes. After name dropping the lead sales there for years and store manager they just decided to send it in. I know they didn’t want to. But the boutique manager went on to say the bag was older and they haven’t had that style in YEARS. I felt insulted but swallowed my pride and tongue. I love my friend so I left it alone. I paid 995 for mine and although it is older it’s still classic Chanel. Why do we get snubbed for having older bags. By the way this is what happened to my leather chain which clearly it shouldn’t have. Anyway if I’m paying to have the chain repaired why such a big deal and why so bourgeois to people. I kept the bag stored properly anyhow. I’ll post after pics. When she gets back home.

Sorry you did not have a good experience. Please don't be put off by this one unfortunate incident. Maybe go and try and have a look in another boutique, I am sure you will get better service.Has anyone else had a really negative experience at a Chanel boutique? The classic WOC is exclusive to this particular boutique so I have to shop there if I want one. But I’ll definitely visit other boutiques if I look for other items. And I’ll definitely avoid the rude SA. Is it normal for them to follow you around? It really made me feel awful being followed! I just thought, I can afford to buy anything in this store that I want... why am I being treated like a criminal?
Where I live, that is normal. One SA sticks with one (or a group together) customer. And they just follow as you walk the store. I think the point is to give you good service, not to treat you like a criminal.
The security guard actually makes people wait outside if there are more customers than SAs.
Hmmm ok, that’s good to know! In my case, at no point did she offer me assistance, which is probably why I felt so targeted! If she had said something like “I’m just here if you need anything” that would have been nicer. Oh well, I’ll try not to let it bother me for next time.
I’m so sorry! Yes, please don’t let it bother you. I still sometimes run into an SA who is just off.
It really would have been nice if she had offered to show you something. Perhaps she was just letting you browse unbothered. Some people don’t like to be approached until they ask for help. Maybe she wasn’t very good at reading you or maybe she was just rude.
I love my Chanel SA and find my Chanel boutique to be usually very friendly unless they are super busy. However, when I go into my LV store, the SA’s are much more likely to just let me browse. They usually say hi, but most do the watch and wait technique and don’t offer help unless I make eye contact or ask to see something.
When I’m traveling and shopping it’s hit or miss. Some SA’s know how to make shopping really fun, even if you aren’t buying, and some are just meh or off putting.
I hope you continue to visit and browse and find someone that you really like so that your eventual buying experience is fun. It should be!
