I am so thrilled to have purchased my first chanel and my first woc...lol. I was lucky to find one in excellent condition on fashionphile. I made the purchase as soon as I saw it! It should arrive tomorrow... I will snap a pic for the thread.

I recently bought a WOC and I absolutely love it! It is perfect for running errands or day trips. It’s also great to use as a Clutch and tuck the chain in. I recently took it on vacation with me and it was the perfect bag. Easy to use and went with my evening wear!

Thank you for sharing. This is exactly how how I plan to use a Woc.

Hubbies know absolutely nothing about Chanel. You’ll get so much use out of your WOC - it’s so handy for running errands. I actually use my WOC more than my rectangular mini. Enjoy your new score!

Hi everyone, this is my first post here (wait I just looked, it's my second post!) but I've been a member for many years. I just got my first Chanel, a classic black caviar WOC with gold hardware. I am not really a super high end type of girl, but my husband's work was having a formal party and I needed a black clutch, so I thought I'd get something classic that I won't get tired of. What says "classic" more than Chanel? (I originally wanted the YSL WOC but I saw on this forum that the quality didn't really hold up.) I was pretty ignorant to the high demand of the classic WOC so less than a week before the party I thought I'd be able to just walk into a boutique and buy one. Silly me. My husband called everywhere near us in the US and they all had a waiting list. We live near Seattle, so my husband got the idea to call the Chanel boutique in Holt Renfrew in Vancouver, BC, and luckily they had it! So the next day we drove up and picked up my new WOC. I love it -- it's timeless and understated.

I have two WOCs and love them both, one is a so black boy and the other is a rose gold with the classic mademoiselle lock. I like the wocs for travel and taking on nights out. The current price increase of 400 dollars has convinced me that I don’t need another one!

I just purchased one to use as a clutch and love the versatility of the WOC I am seeing on this forum. I think it's a tad small for me to use as an everyday bag but it serves the purpose I had purchased it for. Who knows, I might take it out more often than I'm expecting!

And would you sell your classic WOC for this bag? I'm considering it, but is that crazy, especially now that the classic is $2500?? This WOC just looks more like a "real purse" to me..
