It's a very pretty WOC, but I haven't seen that pattern it in person yet. I'm not a Chanel expert by any means, but I first noticed this on items coming out this July/August 2017. I saw this type of leather on some square WOC pictures and was intrigued.

I'd probably be ok with that pattern or the classic quilted.

On the black one the back of the flap is black leather but the interior is also fabric.. i only remembered that the back flap flap was leather and assumed that they used the same material for the entire bag, but they didn’t !! Sorry for the confusion !!

Also regarding the differences between the different lengths.. the design of the main compartment is very different from the “usual WOC design” for the bag with the short strap!

Hi ladies, I need your help please!
I am a newbie to Chanel collection. And suddenly, I have two WOCs. Both in black caviar leather, one with GHW, one with SHW. Are they too similar to each other? Should I let go the silver one? I already have a mini flap in SHW. But I like the longer and thinner strap of WOC. Also I feel like silver is easier to dress down while gold could be more for dressed up.
I am not really into colorful WOC cuz I don’t want to worry about color transfer.
Is it crazy to keep two similar WOCs just in different hardware? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I would keep the one with the gold hardware and get something different in the silver. When I was in Paris they had a black iridescent chevron in caviar that was gorgeous or you could get a boy WOC with silver hardware. I would mix it up a bit with a different pattern.

I understand your love of both! I would keep the ghw and return the silver. As you said the ghw can be dressed up; it can be dressed down as well. You could get a black boy woc, I have one and I love it for casual. Something with a pattern such as chevron would be nice. Just so they don't look so much the same. There are lots of dark options. Good luck! Tough choices.

Beautiful collection. I my self prefer the silver hardware.
