As others have said, she is a weak woman as far as being independent. She must know she comes across as hypocritical when she dishes gossip all day about other celebrity relationships when it is publicly known that her own marriage is a joke, no matter how many times she tries to spin it as being solid.

It has to put a lot of stress on her to have to pretend all the time.

Many people seem to believe that her shoulder isn't fractured at all and it's a cover story. Her husband's verbal abuse and dominating nature is known around NYC.

Wendy is a strong woman when it comes to her career but not her personal life. What's sad is that she's always been very open, especially on her radio show - but just not about her marriage. That is the only topic Wendy has not spoken about honestly or openly nor do I ever think she will because the sh*tshow that will pile on her from other people will crush her, IMO.

I tend to agree with what you've said here. I doubt she will be open about it.

What goes around comes around. As entertaining as Wendy Williams is, I just cannot stand her cruelty for fellow female celebrities. I vividly remember one episode where Nicole Scherzinger went on and Wendy tore her apart. It was brutal. Of course Nicole handled it with grace, but still.....

I really despise women for hurting women and protecting, praising unworthy men. So sexist.

Out of all the celebrity hosting The Wendy Show, I really enjoyed Sherri Shepherd. Not only is she funny, but she has her own style and she kept my interest for the entire hour. She looked fabulous! loved watching Sherri!
And she's not screaming at everyone like Nick did.

If I were an employee working for her I would be getting concerned. Her absence is going on several weeks with no end in sight. At some point it goes from being a mental health break to abandoning her show.

I feel like any of her employees probably know that they could be out of work at the drop of a hat based on the reports of both her husband's and her own behavior. I wouldn't be too surprised if a guest host takes over fully and change the name of the show lol.

I feel the exact same way. Sherri was funny and she also held my attention for the whole show. She's nutty in her own way and doesn't seem to take herself too seriously. I like Cannon, but I also could not take all the screaming....that was so annoying to me and I changed the channel.

I thought Wendy would be back by now, and I'm starting to think she is not coming back. I read online that the show is not even keeping her in the loop anymore. So many reports of how the staff do not want her or her husband back, God only knows what went on behind the scenes there......

I am surprised too that Wendy is not back yet.
As much as I like her and the show, I think it might be time to start thinking about alternating co-hosts between Jerry and Sherri.
I think these two co-hosts can carry the show.
Reports they got the highest ratings.

I can't blame them. When Nick Cannon gave his "message from Wendy," apparently many of her staff were surprised since she has not contacted them or told them anything.

She has run out of excuses for staying away so she's saying nothing. Coming up on two months, if she had hairline fracture it should be healed by now.
