that's what I was thinking....she's the real breadwinner even if he is her manager.....that would be infuriating

Was he her husband, or even boyfriend, before he was her manager? That would be the icing on the cake if she gave him the high paying job that would enable him to keep lovers on the side.

If he was her manager first then I guess a case could be made that he helped her attain her success.

Lmao.........I am sitting in the repair shop and guess what just came on. I don't have tv at home so I can finally watch.
For the longest time I always thought people were talking about the lead singer of the Plasmatics when they referred to Wendy Williams :p

No, I recall he became manager after. She was a radio DJ and didn't need a manager. He took her to mainstream though. When I worked with her on a few projects, he was very in your face and NEVER let her talk. When she was allowed to speak, he would always give her the "watch what you say face". Kevin is a very scary man. I ate lunch with them twice and was never comfortable around him. Being around the two of them was very uncomfortable. It was clear to me, she was scared of him and did what she was told or else. The strong woman you see in public is NOT what goes on, behind closed doors.

Thanks. That actually makes me feel a little sorry for her now. She has such a tell-it-like-it-is persona on air but it doesn't sound like she dares speak her mind at home. She's his cash cow so he's not going to be leaving her officially but he does whatever he pleases. She's stuck.

She is well aware of what her husband has been up to. There are many powerful women in this world who allow their husbands to have a "discreet side piece" as long as he doesn't threaten divorce. Wendy would have to split half of her approx. 70 mil fortune with him. After all, he has been with her from the beginning. She also has a hectic work schedule and needs her rest. She probably does not mind this woman filling in for some of her "wifely duties". This is not a new concept. But if he gets too sloppy, she may just feign ignorance and separate from him to save face.
