I bought this wallet at the LV flagship in NYC two days ago. I can't use it yet as it is my Christmas present, so I copied this photo from the LV website. I can't wait til Christmas morning!

What about the Pallas compact wallet? Depends on how many card slots needed. I just repurchased the empreinte curieuse compact wallet but I don't need that many cards for everyday use as I carry a cardholder as well.Can somebody recomment a compact wallet for everyday use or are they all too small?

Yes, it is. The coin purse is gussetted on one side so easy to pull coins in and out.
