Thank you for the info on the color transfer. I have had the same black wallet for 10 years and thought it was time. I love the comete wallet but would have to get it in black to protect it. My bags are browns, blacks, deep dark colors. No bright, light, or monogram. I or go with vernis which I love.

I don't think the leather on the light colored Comete would be as tough to keep color transfer free as the Vernis. The Comete is leather, and I would venture to say a leather cleaner could help with dirt and such. It all depends what it's exposed to, how it's handled. Yes, with a black wallet you wouldn't have to worry. The thing with light vernis is color transfer can't be cleaned off, it permanent. Usually jeans, plastic bags with ink, receipts are the main culprit of the color transfer on lighter vernis. I have a Pallas wallet in Rose Litchi, where the body is mono and the flap is RL. Only place I really worry about the lighter leather flap is when I'm flower/landscape shopping at a garden store.
I have to make sure I don't have dirt on my hands. Gotta say I didn't think about those trips when I bought that wallet lol. If I think ahead, I'll take my cards out and use a cles for those errands.

Never have purchased a LV wallet I'm needing all the help I can get. Zippy vernis in ameirante, or comete. Comes in 3 colors galet, magnolia, and black. I don't care for light colors and wanted something other than black. Didn't realize there is a lot to consider with choosing a wallet. I want pretty and durability. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
I have zippy wallet in vernis (rose indian). It feels more substantial and sturdy, and i still adore it very much (bought it 3 months ago). I had a look at zippy wallet in empreinte leather & curieuse wallet but they were a bit soft to my liking. Zippy wallet in vernis feels more substantial in my opinion
There are holding up well so far... [emoji4] i also have a longchamp card holder in there for my most used cards so it's more convenient to take them out, or when i change into the empreinte key pouch for my smaller bag
