The Wallet Club!!

Hi! It's my second post here, and it's mostly a copy of what I put up in the Heat Stamped Club. It's been pretty quiet there though, and I'm really hoping for some feedback, just so I can stop staring at my wallet and thinking about the "what ifs".

I've been an anonymous lurker on TPF for a few months now, but my recent hot stamping has prompted me to finally make an account.

Long story short, I was undecided on which font size to use for my hot stamp, so the SA suggested that since I liked matchy-matchy, we should opt for the biggest size font on my ZCW to go with my luggage tag. When it was done though, I wasn't sure it was the effect I was going for.

I guess I'm just hoping to get some opinions, wether it looks hideous or not (read: too big), just so I can quell the little voice in me - that I made the right choice in going for the large instead of the medium font :p

P.S. Third panel is LVboyoverboard's hot stamp for reference of the medium size font.

I, too, think the large font looks fabulous!! Quite stylish! enjoy!

I had the old one now for more than ten years and the edges never curled.
Unfortunately I bought the new Sarah and I have to say, that the quality is not as good as the old one. For me the wallet looks like a fake,

Thank you Roxi88. I guess now I'm on the hunt for a preloved one! Sigh....There's one on a site for less than $500 but the edges are slightly curled. There's another one that's about $100 more but it was used by a smoker who wore perfume  My challenge is that I want a Damier Ebene Sarah.

Thanks Clauddy! I look forward to them!

I just switched today from zcw to insolite. I like the extra room but I miss the zipper. That is why I think I would love the organizer. :)

HiOryx816!
I hope these pics help you make a decision. :D
The other wallet is the Zippy wallet in DA. I wanted you to be able to compare sizes. Although the Zippy Organizer doesn't seem much larger on the outside, it is much roomier on the inside than the Zippy wallet. It allows me to carry my passport and still have plenty of room left.
Good luck!

Hi everyone! This is my second ever post on TFP but I've been a friendly stalker for a while! You're all the nicest bunch of people and I have so enjoyed seeing all of your pictures and posts everywhere :D

I've already posted a super similar post onto the Sarah NM3 club but I'm basically posting this everywhere as I just got myself a new wallet for my birthday, it also happens to be my first LV piece and I'm over the moon :)

I know it's a super popular style but I LOVED the numerous cc slots and the envelope closure was so sophisticated! I had to go for monogram too since I think it's the most beautiful print and looks great on the SLGs :)

I decided to get it hotstamped with my initials, it being so special to me and I just love it - the font is the perfect size and I'm so happy with it.

PHEW sorry if I went overboard with my long and detailed post but I hope you can understand my childlike excitement at my gorgeous new wallet :)
I am of course going to expand my Louis Vuitton collection, my wishlist is gradually getting bigger and bigger!
Thank you if you read all that and I'm so excited to be able to post now on the forum (I was a bit OCD about making my first post about my first item ;))

Wishing you all the best and all your wallets are so beautiful and have me drooling :p

Hi Clauddy!

I don't know how I missed these earlier when I was in this thread so I apologize for the delay and oversight.

My goodness, thank you for such detailed photos. I truly appreciate it! I could never get a sense of what the right hand side (coin pocket side) looked like in its entirety until I saw your lovely photos. It seems the organizer provides some of the features of an accordion wallet as well as a flat opening wallet....possibly the best of both worlds!

I appreciate the comparison with the zippy....if I am not mistaken, the organizer is the same size as the insolite, is it not?

Thank you again so much for taking the time to share such helpful photos. I think now the decision may be down to epi vs canvas! :graucho:

gertuine - Ahh it's nice to know I put a smile on your face with my super high enthusiasm! Yes as you said the first piece I'm sure is always special for everyone!
LitGeek - Thank you! :D I am certain I will! "Obsessed with it" isn't the phrase...
