I love my Chanel wallets. The button flap wallet does have a fabric interior.
Chanel wallets feel very good in the hand. The caviar leather feels really luxurious.
In terms of wear, they are pretty hardy. However I would say that LV wallets in general do wear better than the Chanel wallets.
Out of the wallets you see, the one that I would not purchase again is the LV Sarah Wallet in Vernis. I have nothing against the Sarah wallet but the vernis does make the card slots in front a little hard to put the cards in and pull them out. The card slots have relaxed over time but they still do sometime get stuck. I have had the wallet for 5 years and I am happy to say that I have not gotten any colour transfer on the wallet. The vernis did seem to lose it's shine after a while but I sent it for professional cleaning and polishing and it brought back the shine. It looks amazing for a 5 year old wallet.
Here's an updated family photo of my current LV wallets. Besides holding your money and id wallets have a particular function just like handbags. I like handbags but I LVoe wallets more! I have 3 more on my wishlist.
I agree with you - me too - love wallets - I can change them up and love using them in all my purses - most being non-LV. I love that my interior items are so pretty - its like carrying a secret stash of lovely items everywhere I go. I sometimes buy little something just to sigh when I pull out my wallet

Thank you dbaum. I would like the Zippy in vernis to complete my Zippy family, either the Emilie or Josephine in DE and the Clemence in mono with the mimosa or piment interior. As far as the Zippy in vernis I would like a color that I can wear when I dress up or down, especially when I'm wearing my black or blue jeans with a nice blazer; I was thinking the rouge faviste or lilas.
