Such a lovely CW. My very-dangerous-to-my-wallet SA showed me another CW and LUCKILY I turned it down without even having him open it. But your photos seem to vitalize a planted seed... I can see how it will be perfect with a moto jacket.

Thank you! :flowers:
Cavalla, it is such a functional scarf; not as feminine as my CSGMs, more casual and edgy. I think it is actually a very good piece to invest in if you need a neutral, tomboyish piece. I will try to take some pics of it with my Balenciaga moto and post them later tonight or tomorrow.

Congrats! I got the blue/green cw and loooove it. Isn't it such a cool print?
Thank you & congrats back at you! It is so cool. My DH enjoyed explaining all of the parts to me (I don't know much about motorcycles), apparently there are two different types of bikes there. When I post the moto pics I will elaborate (with his assistance).

This cw is beautiful! I've only seen a glimpse of one Route 24 in blues/greys. It was reserved for someone. I guess not many pieces were ordered (sigh..). Congrats, rainneday!
Thank you, Litchi! I think they must have sold out quickly on the first run. My SA was going to have one sent but then a few turned up the day that I went for a visit, I was happy that there were any left in this CW at all! You may want to give them a call & see if some new stock has come in at your location too, this design is worth seeing in person.

Here are some pics w/my moto for those of you who were curious as to how they would pair. :flowers:

And DH has this to say:
Position the scarf so that the helmet is in the correct direction. Facing the scarf, the motorcycle on the left is a BMW Airhead set up for ice racing (see the spikes in the tires). The motorcycle on the right is a Moto-Guzzi that is set up as a Cafe Racer, you can tell this by the clip-on handlebars. It is distinctly a Guzzi because the cylinder heads are angled. The Motorcycle on the top is also a BMW Airhead, it is set up as a regular bike, but he doesn't know why they drew the mirrors hanging down. The motorcycle on the bottom is the same as above and set up as a Cafe Racer, you are viewing it from behind (see FSH in the review mirrors). The distinctive thing about BMW Airheads is that the cylinder heads stick straight out of the engine on each side. One of the speedometers appears to be brand new and one is used.

All of the motorcycles have control cables. On a typical motorcycle you have a clutch cable and a brake cable, these motorcycles are all connected via their control cables, the clutch cable of one motorcycle circles around to become the brake cable on the motorcycle next to it.

There are four saddle bags that can be used on either the horses or the bikes, and each saddlebag has a corresponding spark plug.

The motorcycle helmet in the middle has a reflective face-shield which is reflecting the bike directly below it.

I am sure he could go into more detail but it's late  I hope you found this helpful and interesting!

OMG this is so gorgeous on you!!! Great look. And I love the details your DH provided. Very cool. I had a biker BF once...

Ok, so I have been obsessed with the poudre/beige/blue Aloha! I hadn't seen it on here or in my local store and I kept hoping someone would post it...which didn't happen, BUT when I was in London this weekend I found it! Here it is! I could't help it, I had to get it. I LOVE it, and this is my first in the 140 size.

Looks fabulous on you Dear! Loved reading your DH analyisi for us uninformed. I nearly bought this shawl in Las Vegas in the blue indigo, but am on a strict budget right now on CSGMs since I have a ton stored in the tansu. Love the way it ties! Congrats!

Fantastic CW for this!!! Congrats!

Thank you, Moma! :flowers: I had to cut things short because he could have gone on for hours and fully dissected every bit of this design. Initially I wanted to buy it for DH, but there is too much material (in his opinion), I am hoping that once it breaks in some of the fluffiness will be gone & he will want to borrow it.

Stunning on you darling!

Thank you, MYH! :flowers:

Could you share the CW? Have not seen it before and it is my favorite so far. Congratulations on the great find.

Hi, Lynn & thank you! The CW is #07 and the colors are Acajou/Baobab/Marine

Thank you, Lanit! Ooh, I totally get it. I still have one CSGM on my list (for this season), but was more able to rationalize buying this scarf .:giggle:
