Ooh, thank you. Would you say the background tones on this one are more pink-pink or more peachy-pink? Or maybe a better way to phrase it is, do you think IRL the background is more peachy than it appears on the H.com pic?

Such a gorgeous day, had to go for a walk and found myself somehow (maybe subconsiously?..at least that's what I tell myself!) near the Hermes store and so, of course, I just had to go in...
Anyways, came back with a Samourais CW 7 - creme/acqua/corail- this was not a CW on my radar until I saw of pictures of it here and when I tried it on I was surprised how much I liked it. So thank you all for the lovely photos!
Also came back with Tapis Persan Mousse! -CW09 Blue/Fuchsia/Rose Poudre
Still on my wish list - Paperoles (there are a couple CWs I would really like to see that still don't seem to be available here) and a Zebra Pegasus Mousse.
And every year I tell myself I'm going to be good....

I know, right? Online it looks navy and it says marine, but to my eyeballs it's looking black (who should I believe, Hermès, or my lying eyes????? ). We went away for the weekend (on the plane now) and I left it home but when I get back I'll check again.
You do neeeeeed that Parures!!!! Over my (20?!?) years of buying H scarves, just a few come to mind that were truly outrageous color-wise. It will be very hard to find another scarf of any size with that gorgeous background that has fabulous rich accent colors, versatility and also it doesn't even have anything weird going on in it (faces, a really distracting color, poor/no contrast hem, etc).

I have yet to step over into the twill 140 zone for fear that I'll slide into a state of penury faster than Pete Rose sliding headfirst into home base. (And that, my dears, is the extent of my baseball knowledge. ... Erm, actually, I had to even look that up, thanksbetogoogle!)

I was away for the weekend and left my Samourais home. We just got back, I will be sure to post more shots tomorrow!
SOOOO....the Samourais seems to be a winner, and with talk of a CSGM coming in the fall ([emoji1374]hoping hoping hoping[emoji1374]), I have decided to start an Ode to Samurais in the Clubhouse section...of course starting with a group shot with all cw numbers and names. See you there!
