Did someone ask about modeling photos of Samourais in cw06 (Corail, turquoise, beige)?
When I sent DH a couple of selfies to compare my first choice of cw05 (black, blue, orange) with this one (05), he picked this one, so I gave it a little more attention than I might have otherwise and voila! This is today's purchase and I'm amazed: I don't like gold, but the "beige" is a lovely rose gold peachy shade (as is the hem). The coral/corail is pretty -- a pale orange, maybe a gentle apricot. The turquoise tones range from aqua to canard/teal, all of which I love.
I was so excited to try it on that I forgot my lipstick, but you can see that I have pale skin with a yellow rather than pink undertone -- this scarf is incredibly flattering, I think. I'm wearing it with navy, and it's going to look great with tan jackets, slacks, etc too.

There's some shaded yellow in the center and scattered bits in other places, but it's easy to hide and doesn't stand out.

There's also quite a bit of silver with a metallic sheen -- very pretty with the rose gold.

ABQ2ATL,
You look stunning in this colorway! I have yet to decide on a samurai! I haven't tried on any colorways, so I am excited to see which one comes home with me.
You chose THE PERFECT one for your beautiful complexion!

Hi Miss Anastrof. Here is my scarf yesterday. I would say it's a pretty true colour depiction. Also another one, worn flatter. Hope they help.

Jardins de M GM in color 05. I really, really like how vibrant it is and the colors are so fun and perfect for spring. It was love at first sight when I opened the box which is always a good sign.
Seeing all the pictures of Samurai is a real treat. Thank you to those who are posting here and sharing their beauties.
Big thank you to ms piggy for posting a picture of this color way a while back.
Maedi,

DH and i visited H before bd dinner last night. Two silks came home with me! Here's number one, delightfully twins with some of you! . I am still waiting for this one is the greys and primaries, but super happy with this gris/turquoise one for my piscean side. Sorry the light is fading fast here. A lovely match to the silver larimar drops from my trip. Perfect for stormy weather too! Btw, the mens 100 firmat is my new go to size since 70's are being rested. It is a better fit than the 70 or 90 for me!

ABQ2ATL, that cw is stunning on you. DH definitely made the right choice! If I hadn't already tried this cw on (it looks terrible on me [emoji51] I cannot do orange) I would be so tempted. The way it will pick up rose gold is phenomenal. Gorgeous!!!

Croisette, once again you have an amazing winner and you look fabulous. Loooove your accessories!!!

View attachment 3629430 At last I have managed to take some modelling pictures of my Samouraïs - colourway 07. I put them together in a collage - sorry if it comes out too huge! I had intended to wear it against different colours, but I get too tired and ill to do that. I have been struggling badly this week and my husband has also been terribly ill.

Also, I have posted on my blog about the scarf. Many thanks to those of you who gave me permission to use your images. I cropped them down to show scarf details, so there are no faces shown.

The link to my blog is in my signature. I am aware that some tPF members have already visited - many thanks. I write about all kinds of things to do with my life and scarves, in particular. My life, however, is not very exciting and my clothes budget is tiny. Don't expect a blog about a designer lifestyle!:biggrin::biggrin:

I absolutely adore Samouraïs and wish I could afford to buy another colourway. The detailing is amazing. Oh, and I remember someone saying that the hand of the scarf is very stiff and crisp - mine is too. Is it the sizing? I don't dare wash it at the moment to find out.
HermesHope,
This is such a delightful colorway! It brightens up your lovely face! You do such a great job at showing the various ways to tie this scarf. Thank you for taking the time to do this. I can't wait to try on some of the Samurai scarves. Your pictures are so helpful and beautiful. (I am one of your fans on your blog!) I hope you and your husband feel better, soon.
