Also, I have posted on my blog about the scarf. Many thanks to those of you who gave me permission to use your images. I cropped them down to show scarf details, so there are no faces shown.

The link to my blog is in my signature. I am aware that some tPF members have already visited - many thanks. I write about all kinds of things to do with my life and scarves, in particular. My life, however, is not very exciting and my clothes budget is tiny. Don't expect a blog about a designer lifestyle!:biggrin::biggrin:

I absolutely adore Samouraïs and wish I could afford to buy another colourway. The detailing is amazing. Oh, and I remember someone saying that the hand of the scarf is very stiff and crisp - mine is too. Is it the sizing? I don't dare wash it at the moment to find out.

Oh my HHope!... you look lovely in this CW.

View attachment 3629430 At last I have managed to take some modelling pictures of my Samouraïs - colourway 07. I put them together in a collage - sorry if it comes out too huge! I had intended to wear it against different colours, but I get too tired and ill to do that. I have been struggling badly this week and my husband has also been terribly ill.

Lovely photos! Congratulations on your scarf-it is gorgeous! I am having a hard time deciding on a colourway-they are all so beautiful!

Oh wow HermesHope, that blue makes your eyes zing! You definitely chose the right cw. Love it.
Sending good health wishes to you and your husband.

Did someone ask about modeling photos of Samourais in cw06 (Corail, turquoise, beige)?
When I sent DH a couple of selfies to compare my first choice of cw05 (black, blue, orange) with this one (05), he picked this one, so I gave it a little more attention than I might have otherwise and voila! This is today's purchase and I'm amazed: I don't like gold, but the "beige" is a lovely rose gold peachy shade (as is the hem). The coral/corail is pretty -- a pale orange, maybe a gentle apricot. The turquoise tones range from aqua to canard/teal, all of which I love.
I was so excited to try it on that I forgot my lipstick, but you can see that I have pale skin with a yellow rather than pink undertone -- this scarf is incredibly flattering, I think. I'm wearing it with navy, and it's going to look great with tan jackets, slacks, etc too.

There's some shaded yellow in the center and scattered bits in other places, but it's easy to hide and doesn't stand out.

There's also quite a bit of silver with a metallic sheen -- very pretty with the rose gold.
