Bonjour dear scarfies!
Allow me to share my first acquisition from ss17. I knew I was going to like this design. But I am so much more thrilled than I expected. Its been quite some seasons since I have been captivated by the intricate, extremely fine and rich details of a design. I find this scarf truly amazing!

Gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing, Pegase! This is one of the cw's I wanted to see!

Here are my additional purchases: Calvacadour (This one make me want to go out and buy and wear some red lipstick!) and Etude Pour Un Iris - love the pastels and I think it can be quite versatile, depending on what you wear and how tie it you can bring out the blues, the pinks, the greys...If teels like a spring scarf to me. Hope you enjoy!

Is the Coup de Fouet au Bloc Maxi Twilly in CW 14 basically the MT version of the 140 silk CW 03?

I have my eye on CdF 140 silk in CW 03 (blue and rouge H) and CW 02 (gray / yellow) for the season, but I'm quite certain I'm getting paperoles in pale blue / rouge H, which is quite similar color combo to the CdF CW 03. Maybe it will be a good alternative to get the MT CdF instead of the 140 silk, so that I have a good variety - format, color combo, design.
The 140 and the Maxi Twilly Cut are similar, however, the floral overlay on the 140 is not on the front of the Twilly, just the back.

The blue Paperoles is essentially light blue - dark blue - white - burgundy. The Coup de Fouet is those colors plus quite a lot of light pink and some light purple. I don't think they compete due to the size difference and the added colors - but if the choice is between the Coup MTC and the Coup 140 so as not to compete with the Paperoles, I would think the 140 would be more different than the MTC with regard to format.

Quite honestly, you need to try them on. For me, the 140 just looked better on than the MTC.
Thanks for getting back to Cavalla, BBC. With the time difference, I'm just getting to work!
Cavalla, I agree with BBC. The two CdF cws are very similar, but they are slightly different - a deeper blue in the 140, and of course the floral overlay. I think it depends on which format you prefer, which format maybe you don't have yet, etc. The Maxi Twilly Cut is very different from the Maxi Twilly in length and so how you would wear it. I don't remember what you have, but that's definitely something to consider.

I knew that I would want one of the Iris mousselines from the title alone; my grandma grew irises in her garden, and they were my favorite of the plants she grew, so it's a special flower to me.

I tried on this exuberant colorway yesterday with a TPF friend and decided to go back for it today. I'm not 100% settled on it yet-- I need to see how it looks with my summer wardrobe, and I'm eager to see all the colorway options for the mousseline in this design-- but I absolutely love the tangerine and aqua in this colorway!

Can I ask if you found this in the US? I love the look of this but when I sent info to my SA he said this colorway is not in the US :( very sad if true but hoping maybe it just hasn't shown up yet? He is going to transfer in a different color way.

Thank you dear BBC, klynneann for getting back to me. Among the three, I've only seen paperoles IRL thus far. The scarf selection is quite limited in the country I live now that I can only get them on a trip or through friends, your thoughts are extremely helpful and appreciated. After reading your comments, I went back and forth comparing the photos you ladies shared a few pages back, now I see that the floral overlay is a determining factor for me. It just brings that depth and complexity to the whole design, and the purple/ lavender colors in 140cm make it that much more different from paperoles. I got 2 MTC from last season, so I should only get MTC when it's a design that I can't live without in this format than just an alternative to other formats.

How wonderful we have the access to what others saw and purchased here. I really appreciate it, my dear scarfies.
