Just to clarify as I have received queries, the BdG Love is NOT limited to Selfridges or the U.K. It is available worldwide at H boutiques who have ordered them as part of the podium order. My store just received them yesterday. They are limited so grab it when you see it. And the best part, it is the same price as a regular 90 carre. Would make a lovely present under the tree for sure!

Edit, it seems the boutiques are receiving SS17 inventory like shoes and now this BdG Love, so hopefully more scarves soon!

Well in the UK - because of the exchange rate fluctuation last year ( or was it the year before?) the price of 90cm silk scarves went down from £315 to £280 and now - for the very same reason - they are going back up again. To be honest a 6% increase is pretty meagre considering the actual change to the exchange rate so I'll take it! I did ask my SA in Manchester the same question and I though she said scarves were going up £60 but
a) I am going a bit deaf
b) there was masses of noise in the store as it was the opening day of their new two storey premises inside Selfridges. The original store in King Street is now closed
c) I did have a long look in the scarf drawers and found nothing that looks new season yet - I would expect a few items to pop up before Christmas but no real stock until January
On a side note - I went into the store in the afternoon and there were very few bags left at all - apparently people had been queueing at 7:30 in the morning for them and the store had very nearly sold out - they will need to employ the Faubourg St Honore queueing system if this goes on!

For those interested in the special edition Brides de Gala Love, it's now available on the USA hermes.com site. And, it will come in an additional colorway - orange border, navy center ground with white hearts. At this point, though, the website is showing only the black border.

And, it will ship with the heart-shaped box, as well. Now, if I can just figure out how to wear that adorable box!
