I just discovered something interesting about cw10 (Marine, Parme, Mauve) of Le Jardin de la Maharani. When tied in one direction on the bias, the color is quite light around the neck while remaining dark at the tails. Tied in the other direction, it darkens up quite a bit around the neck and is more in balance with the tails. It also "reads" more violet in the first directions, and more fuchsia in the second. This makes it a perfect travel scarf... very versatile! (FYI, for reference, in this photo my tee is black & my cardigan is dark green. Probably would have looked better with a navy tee.)

It's soooo pretty. Every time I look at the H.com scarf section, my eye is drawn to this exact scarf. Must...resist...must..save...for...Parures....!
