So interesting dear, am glad you clarified the color of the gold. Perfect for you.

Thanks lanit green-gold not for everyone but perfect for me :p

I meant to say my phone camera seemed to have tuned most of the various greens and blues turquoise, there are actually all sorts of of shades of both, very painterly design.

The one that almost got away (mostly due to Hermes' terrible stock photo)

This scarf is golden green (like my eyes ;) ) and not yellow ochre as suggested in both H-photo and description

I tried it on to find it is one of H's most beautiful scarves ever

and closer (better true colour) but still there are many more shades of very different blues and greens (not just the turr my phone has reduced some of the colours too). Background should still be a bit more green

Suddenly I am interested in this pattern. I love golden green. Now, what cw is it? From H.com I thought it was some kind of yellow. And, pictures in daylight would be welcome (hint, hint!). At any rate, glad for you and your discovery, papertiger.

I think this is spring 16...

Lanit, as I scroll thru the thread and see your pix of this HS and gingham silk blouse I have to say that I think this is one of the best HS you have modeled and you have modeled many. Combo works very well with your complexion (always the "gold" (sorry for pun) standard of a color's suitability).

I have never seen a yellow CDC. On the web there is some color called cumin or something like that which as I recall looks like a yellowish tan, not the same as yellow.

Is this colorway 10? Oh, no, I NEED this. These are my colors--all of them--and this is the first cw in this design that I really love. Oh, oh, oh.

The colours are soooo off on h.com I had to check it was the same cw. How to ruin a beautiful and unusual colour

DF took some pics today so hopefully he can send them to me and I can show you

Mindi, I think you will absolutely love it!

Ladies (or gents) the design (in a the right personal cw) is like art round one's neck (or waist, or head...) I am over the green-gold moon.

Sisters, though not twins on this. But I sure would like to be your twin!! That crazy yellow/green is right up my alley. Doesn't froufrou have this cw as well? It's downright terrific.

Congrats! This is a wonderful design and [as everyone on here already knows...] I love yellow in all shades, even greenish ones! Every time I see this pattern I like it more and more.

Thanks eagle, so kind of you. I did not realize this design was even released last spring! Our store must not have ordered it. I have seen the cashmere 140 and haven't tried on due to having bought the Sieste.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! It must be the combination with the gingham ...:)

Adding this photo here (posted in "recent purchases" as well).

March du Zambeze, in the coral. This is a super scarf, i am surprised how interesting it is. Just got it this weekend.

JRTgal and Papertiger :….. Frou frou sure wishes she has this fabulous colour way! I tried it , several times , but the verdict was that it was perfectly fine but not amazing ,as it is on Papertiger
My Modernisme Tropicale is actually the pale aqua blue with green and ochre , and I love it too! This design is my favourite for ages.
