Ahhh that's why it was only on my radar in the giant silk.
How do you like stole version??? I didn't even try it on when SA brought out TF... I said no immediately.... :thinkin:
Actually, I quite like the stole format. Easy to tie, and less material around the neck which is nice during our warm weather in California.

It must be less popular as there always seem more choices with the GM format. I do think you may get more silk per dollar in the GM format.
Here is a pic from last Friday- in honolulu
Rose compas stole from last year.

sorry to be so persistent but I spy a little pink in your wonderful HS. There is a version of UTW that has your blues + more soft pink. Is that yours? If so, I guess it can be tied so the pink is not so apparent? (say, if I wanted to emphasize those teal blues?).

I can post an unfolded and different bias for you later if that helps?

I love this expatwife

I fell for the design only last week and when I visited one store the SA was wearing this . They didn't have this lovely c'way in there , but maybe I'll find it in another store.

I'm mindful of the fact is has very similar colours to my Sieste shawl .

I'm liking the blue and yellow version too.

Thank you dear frou frou. They all are so beautiful and look different, I had a hard time choosing. This cw looked very elegant and is perfect for my B etoupe. But you can't go wrong with any.

Sorry I've taken so long to reply , my Modernisme Tropicale is the very devil to photograph and I still haven't managed to get a good likeness showing the beauty of the colours. The first two look bleached out and I can't balance the colours well with i photo.

Here it is flat , and with a teal gluey-green jumper , someone requested I show this combo which I think works well for colder months.

The best photo to date is the one I just took for SOTD , I think here the colours are true to life---and as a lover of yellow especially ochre I particularly like this combo.

It's beautiful on you! I'm contemplating the red one

Thank you , I hope you get the Modernisme Tropical silk , it's such a joyful design and the red is simply fabulous .

Oh my frou frou, that last pic with the yellow shirt is quite fabulous!!!! Brava to you for taking that cw of Modernisme in a totally different direction, dare I say, more moderne [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]. If I'm not careful, some pinks can get very treacly on me but I love where you are heading with this, yay! And the teal combo could be a workhorse. Love it!

TextileGirl I think we have very similar ideas about H , and being moderne is definitely the way I want to go!
Pink is so tricky , it usually suits my colouring but I feel too girly .Whereas dirty yellow makes me smile.:smile1:
